Been watching Longhorn football for over 60 years and these offensive and defensive lines are the best I've seen since those championship teams under Mack. Whether we've played a team the caliber of Georgia or not, the current line play of this Texas team is excellent and I do not expect Georgia's lines are going to push us around. I just don't see that, our guys have been playing together for 3 years. GO HORNS !!!!

I think the biggest difference will be the depth of edge rushers Texas has. When your pass rushers start to get tired, QBs like Beck get that extra time to tear up your secondary. When you have guys like Simmons, Burke, Vasek, and Lafau coming off the bench, tired talent is just replaced by fresh talent. The Georgia o-line was pushed around by MSU, and their top two backs were held to 3.2 ypc. The fourth quarter will be tired o-linemen trying to stop a relatively fresh d-line.

Another great episode fellas! I think Texas D shows up early like last week. I just wanted to touch on the increased touches for Lefau. I think he just has a natural feel for the flow of the game. I don’t think this will diminish Gbenda’s role. It’ll allow the LB core more time to rest and rotate the players and that is good for everyone. It’s so nice that the young talent is allowed time to grow and mature in the program instead of being forced into action because of necessity. My initial score prediction was going to be 27-17 Texas but with the offense being so bad the entire first quarter in the RRS and we still found a way to score 34 (hat tip to Sark for going with what worked and doing it over and over) I think I have to change my prediction to 32-24 Texas. Georgia scoring a late TD to make it look closer than what it was. I’m so ready for this game. Hook ‘em 🤘

You’re the one who will see. It’s hard to give up only 3 in 6 games against anyone with 2 being in garbage time with 2-4th strong players in. I love the box score people who don’t pay attention to context nor think it matters. How you win means a lot more than people think versus the schedule. You think Georgias Oline is the same as it’s always been over the past few years? It’s not and neither is the Dline. None of this 100% guarantees anything. You go by the stats and eye test. Clemson also got better during the year. They weren’t that good at the start

@@DTraiN5795 UGA oline is riddled with injuries so yes, they will be once they get ratledge back. That will help open up the run game more so we don’t have to rely on the pass as much, but hell, it’s working lol and the defense is young and they get better every game. Ewers not being a run threat like milroe will allow them to adjust a lot better. Not having to crash guys on both sides to stop a running qb gives us the chance to drop cj Allen or one of our faster LB’s to help cover receivers. I just don’t see Texas offense being something UGA can’t handle and lord help Texas defense if Carson comes out like he has the last few games. He will eat them alive that hurry up will gas them boys out
