Sometimes I think you scratch golfers get a little to cocky with these challenges. A 5 handicapper is a very good golfer. Forward tees are a big head start. I like that you want to challenge yourself, but be careful with the advantage you give them. Big fan of yours Micah. Keep up the good work.

It also really depends on the golfer. I'm a 4 handicap but I lose almost all my strokes off the tee with driver in hand. If I had this advantage, I would fair much better in a challenge like this vs someone who struggles with their short game who plays to a 5.

That wouldn't even be the blues on a championship course championship course so realize the you tube smoke and mirrors you are witnessing! 67 in a pro tournament without a driver (broke on driving range) is so much better than scratch it's not even funny. Scratch just means zero. You don't have to be that good to be scratch. Abacoa from the tips is course and slope rated 75.0/142, so his 67 calculates to a +6.3 (aka way fucking better than scratch...without a driver too).
