LOVE that GPU...I bought a handful of them recently since they're so cheap and plentiful...it plays everything I want it to, including Cyberpunk 2077 (at a modest framerate for sure)... budget builds will never cease to fascinate me! I'm new to your channel and I really enjoy it so far! Keep up the good work!

Glad to have you onboard! Glad you liked the video, budget GPUs are very fascinating to me, especially like you mentioned; getting them to work with new games despite their limitaitons. If you liked this one you will definitely like the next one that is coming out.

Awesome test for that gpu. I was honestly surprised to see what it could run. Until recently I only had a crusty laptop that could just barely run (some) indie games, so I know there's a lot of people out there in similar circumstances who will benefit from knowing you can build with older parts get a significant upgrade in experience for such a low price.

Yooo! this is cool haha I recently put together a PC that I'm planning on dual booting with (Windows 10 and XP) It has an i5 3570k, 4gb ram (planning to add more, but 4gb was what I had at the time), GTX 980 (going to use modded drivers for XP). I managed to pick up the GTX 980 for ~$140 AUD. The rest of the parts were decently cheap as well (e.g. $45 for the motherboard).
@BudgetBin Жыл бұрын
That is a great budget build man! Hopefully you can get another 4gbs of ram when the time comes to make that PC worth while!

You should look into cases like the xion xion mk2 black. I wish i knew how to find similar products

Wow, that old thing holds up surprisingly well! What you said about temps just reminded me that I need to repaste my GPU, so, cheers.

there was a bios mod for these cards that unlocked a ton of gpu cores, I remember fps for these gpus going up like 15-20% with that mod

i've heard a lot of good ideas about using cheaper ryzen iGPUs, like the 2400GE now that OEMs are dumping their older workstations that have that chip in it.

I was thinking about integrated graphics recently for a video I am working on. I kind of want to make a whole video about that subject in a sense since they are pretty cheap.

Ayeee, nice one. Great info 👍 always nice to see a pc you built come back for upgrades lol also nice to see that it ran Warzone 2..I always say if a pc can run cod then any game will run perfect on it lol

Thanks man, yeah I was doubting Warzone 2 could but I am glad it did.

@@BudgetBin Maybe a video on repasting the RX 460 ? 😅😁 just sounds like a fun video, plus that 80°C is toasty indeed 🔥🔥 Glad my RX 560 is undervolted ❄️⚡ Furmark max temp is 58°C❄️.

The Arsegame psu may be very bad, the company has changed their products after they had been verified and swapped them out with lower quality components. This could cause a component in the PSU to explode and take out other PC parts with it, due to lower quality SCP if a short circuit occurs. This will also reduce the life span of the PC parts because of the higher ripple and lower efficiency than advertised. Great video other than the PSU being most likely horrible.
@BudgetBin2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the heads up! I will look into the PSU if that is the case

Great video! But I would recommend shortening your title so it can get more outreach. Example: "Can a 50$ gpu play AAA games in 2022?"
@BudgetBin2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. Yeah I was going to go with something along those lines but I had to reupload since the first one failed so I lost the old title. So I just smashed the last title out right before I had to go to work. Mind if I use your example? The current one is technically a preset.

Maybe comparison to GTX960, as it is almost equally cheap as an RX460.
@bradleyblexrude14822 жыл бұрын
The biggest benefit the rx 460 is that it doesnt need external power and gets it from the motherboard. The gtx 960 needs at least a 6pin from the power supply
