Do you think it would work if you plug it into a car cigarette lighter
@MattGarage15 күн бұрын
That would work you just want to be careful to not drain your car battery

Awesome thanks for the video I hope it works for me this weekend

Thanks I hope so too!

@@MattGarage well bad news the bluetti wouldn't start the heater. The heater would give the e02 code right when it would get to 100 watts of draw.

That’s too bad. What firmware is it on?
@stevenbrown203911 ай бұрын
@MattGarage idk it was my buddies bluetti but he said that there wasn't an update for it cause I told him to do it before we left if there was
@stevenbrown203911 ай бұрын
It's on the same firmware as urs so idk. I had 15amp cigarette plugs to so it shouldn't have been those

Good job on the video 👌🏽 have you tried this startup process without the bluetti plugged into ac power?
@MattGarage3 ай бұрын
That’s actually how I’ve used it almost 99% of the time. Always relied on the solar to charge it during the day before I would use it at night

Awesome, thanks for the reply. Does the EB3A power the heater all night?

I have a EB70 and I don’t trust it to run my heater on the cigarette lighter port with the same setup you have on yours and it doesn’t work triple out.thanks I’m going to check if there’s a software update for mine 🤜🤛

Doesn't work with my bluetti and 8kw heater. It can't handle the peak power of the startup. An old car battery would run it, the bluetti dont. I did use a quality 15ah plug. Going to try a ac to dc convertor 250w, soms say that will solve the problem.
@tugayaydin4506Ай бұрын
Did you tried it with the converter? Does it work? How much watt it pulls with active AC converter on your powerstation?
@daalhoffarmАй бұрын
@tugayaydin4506 hello, yes with the ac to dc convertor works great! It draws very low, and can handle the diesel heater like its nothing. I think the peak power is about 150watt for startup so not a big deal. And running is about 80w or so. I have everything in my van hooked up to the same ac-dc 250w. I don't use the 12v port anymore.
@tugayaydin4506Ай бұрын
@@daalhoffarm Do it need a 250 watt or is 180 watt converter enough?
@daalhoffarmАй бұрын
@@tugayaydin4506 You better use a 250watt. Rated watt is peak watt so its better to have one step higher.

Will this unit run a electric heater?
@MattGarageАй бұрын
I’m not sure with the specific heater, but I would assume this wouldn’t be able to power a fully electric heater for very long, if at all
