By any chance is there gonna be a black edition of the Zizzo Forte 2023 model?

We hope so but as of right now we have not decided on any future color additions. Thanks for the comment!-Beau

Well technically the original Forte did have a black edition. To tell you the truth I’m probably noticing to many bikers around me with darker styled bikes, but otherwise from deep down I wouldn’t mind any color just as long as the bike works..

I own one of these, and many other types of bikes,(mountain, road, gravel etc), clearly best on pavement and really good as a folding bike, the wheel diameter is the limiting factor for off road use, the frame clamping system is plenty strong and nothing to be concerned about. I’m 6’5” and 225 and fit comfortably on one, I wouldn’t take it on a 25mi. ride but these are a good value and they fill a niche in the market. I love the fact I can fold it and keep it from being easily stolen inside of my truck or car. Big plus.

I momentarily had the Space Gray Urbano. I did expected some people, including my brother to find it “small”(at the same time he considers even fuller sized 26” bikes to be small too). I wasn’t surprised. He isn’t too bright sometimes to know the point and potential of compact folder bikes. Though I do wish the cockpit was a tad bit longer and the seat and handle bars a little taller(as they are the same height as a 26” inch bike). If there was an ultimate reason why I reluctantly returned it, it’s that I ride downhills(especially very fast) a lot and found it worrisome to be using v-brakes and not disc brakes. I do feel left out without a folder which I would be using as my portable back up(kinda like when you think of having a pistol as a secondary weapon to a standard rifle).

Actually after experiencing a 29inch bike that was a tad bit too long, I actually don’t mind the shorter cockpit of the Zizzo cause I like to actually reach the handle bar. I do feel tempted to go back to a Zizzo bike after seeing some more Zizzo owners near where I live only after I began missing my Urbano.

I switched my tires out for SchwabE Marathon. Better tread for grabbing and a more comfy ride. 😊

Are you referring to Schwabe Marathons on an off-road trail, on a Zizzo? I have an Urbano with stock tires. Interested in the Marathons, and am wondering about their versatility on paved roads and on off-road trails, mud, i.e, terrain a little rougher than paved roads. I’m not thinking, as an aging senior, about jumping logs or navigating rock gardens or cliffs. 😵 Thanks much, if you have time to reply! 👏🚴♀️

@@maryl.7226 Yes. Schwabe Marathons on my Urbano. The bike is my little fun ride, light and foldable but I wanted a more rugged tire when I go off road. Nothing too crazy, mainly gravel roads and easier dirt trails. Just wanted a beefier tire that I didn’t have to worry about. The bike is still lightweight & foldable with little drag.

Great tires from what we hear. When I do these videos we try to just use the stock right out of the box bike with no mods. Once the course got wet the mud is very clay like here and even my friends expensive cyclocross bikes tires were getting caked with it and had to stop and pull off the mud from his aggressive tread pattern. 2 hours earlier this place was dry and dusty. Thanks for watching!-Beau

@@Parlorjam Thanks Jamie! Sounds like a direction I’ll think about one day. I’m new to the Urbano after decades of riding and now aging, so I am pretty much learning to ride all over again. I keep tire tires at 60-63 psi, but find my street rides rather jarring sometimes. Might let a little air out; “a more comfy ride” is sounding rather appealing. Thanks again and happy biking!

Definitely race it; let's see what the bike is capable of.

Might be something coming out soon as there are some fun Halloween cyclocross events next week 😃

Hi Beau, thanks for this scary video! Unclear as to the opening disclaimer. Do you mean a “race event” wasn’t ridden with a Zizzo, but that you rode the same course at a different time to see how the Urbano did on it? Thanks for clarification!

Hi Mary. The footage at the start was actually me racing in this event but NOT using a ZiZZO. Then when I showed riding the ZiZZO Urbano it was just strolling around the course that the race was held on to see how a folding bike would do. Hopefully that clears things up. I just didnt want to make people think that I did race in this event on a ZiZZO .Once you see a few clips you can tell by the brake levers its a standard drop bar bike with 27 inch wheels. Thanks!-Beau
