Well done! Quite impressed with the innovation and especially the liquid cooled battery AND charging system, smart. The adjustable regen is a killer feature and I wish I had it on my F150 Powerboost hybrid truck tbh. I use the Qlink on my X3 sxs and it's a great feature for accessories and requires no tools. Look forward to test driving an Origin in the near future

Glad you’re enjoying the innovation! The liquid-cooled battery and charging system truly set a new standard in performance, and adjustable regen is a game-changer for bringing control to another level. Sounds like you're a tech-savvy rider, so we think you'll appreciate what the Origin has to offer when you take it for a spin. Let us know how the test ride goes! 🔌

I'm actually liking it for a second bike. Gonna need to keep the gas bike for if I want to go anywhere but for messing around nearby... I might.

Check out Escooters and EUCs, their cheaper and generally will outperform EMotos

Generally I won’t buy this early on in technology changes but I am excited to get on one of these. Already completed my preorder, can’t wait for 2025 to take delivery. I am putting a lot of faith CanAm!

Under braking load is transferred to the front wheel. How useful is the regenerative braking actually going to be offroad where traction and load are both low on the rear wheel ?

Is a more high end model planned ? 20+kWh battery, CCS, more power, etc. I'd love to see a challenger for the Experia ;)

This is not a walkaround. Watch any other motorcycle walkaround video on the internet. Vague descriptions, a really weird host, almost 0 technical info, and leaving out 90% of the important info perspective buyers need. Why hide the hp number? Your website model links in mobile are broken. I hope the bike is better than your release. This is coming from a Canam owner and enthusiast.

The is very interesting, especially compared to the Zero DSR/X.

Are you more of a Pulse or Origin rider?

@@CanAmMotorcycles The Origin strikes my fancy. I'd buy one because I simply want it, not because I expect it to compete with ICE bikes for the ultimate adventure bike of the century.

I'm glad motorcycle companies are trying their hand at electric motorcycles, but they are leaps behind other PEV options that are often times much much cheaper. You can get an EUC that has 160km range for less than $5000. I think motorcycle companies would be better served designing smaller PEVs instead of EV motorcycles until they learn to really get the weight down and battery power up.

Should have done a belt drive set up in my opinion.

I stopped watching the video when it mentioned the LIGHTWEIGHT 400 lbs ! I owned a 70s Can Am 175 enduro. I am near 70 and 160 lbs and looking for a lighter off-road bike than my 2001 Yamaha XT225 at 240 lbs . Lots of Suron or Talaria bikes at 150-175lbs. This is definitely not for me !

From 20% to 80%, it will take about 3h10 with a level 1 charger but 50 min with a level 2.

This is the only Subjective information on KZbin, I appreciate sticking to the Subject. Conversely, the most current KZbin motorcycle reviewer channels cannot " Think" outside of the limitations of Petrol powered prehistoric limitations. Instead, they opine and contrast the EV's against their personal past experience of combustion machines. Quite frankly they result in being little more than Saboteurs of themselves and others. Can Am should consider other parties when they release products for the sake of mother earth god almighty.
