hey bud loved the video it helped me alot to get mine apart and back together i see where you started to take the trans apart can you do a indepth video on the tear down and rebuild of the transmission? im at a lose right now on it got mine apart in the shop

I have a 2003 quest 650. The motor has hatched 2 times in the 300 miles it was ridden. dealer fixed it under warranty the 1st time but refused to fix it when it blew again in just 15 miles. Which of your videos would help me? Great video!

I have tried to twice The transmission gearbox is too complicated There is a specific order that it had to be built and that's hard to show on film

those head bolts look to be inverted torx

What about the fixed chain guide. Can it be removed without taking the head off? It looks like it just sets in there. I have a 07 500 and the chain ate clear through the guide with the tensioner into the tensioner.

Yes But you have to pull flywheel as well as the pto side to do so They are held in with an Allen bolt from below

I mean the other guide, the one towards the front. No.18 in the parts list. It looks like it just sets in a groove down inside and pivots in there. Only 1700 miles and it needs a transmission to, there's nothing left of it
