For everyone wondering "why the hell do my subs not work?".. Do NOT connect your little 4 pin (white, gray, 2 black) Rear to "Rear In" on the input side of the amplifier. Instead connect your Rear to "Sub In" input on amplifier.. I've seen this question asked many times. This stage 6 system has great deep bass, alot of the other systems on the market lack it.

Great! Glad you were able to troubleshoot your system and get your subwoofers working. Greg does state at timecode 9:00 "Plug the harness labeled FRONT to the pigtail labeled FRONT, and the harness labeled REAR/SUBWOOFER into the pigtail labeled SUBWOOFER.

Um there is no wire labled rear/sub there’s three different connections front in, rear in, and sub in but no wires for sub from the head unit. What an I missing here?

@brianmonger3452 From the head unit side, front goes to front in (input side of amp) Rear goes to Sub In, (not rear on amp input like you would naturally think)

It will still be there, but blocked-off. You can use an extension and route it to another location.

When connecting speakers with the RCA connectors, using the fader leaves the front dash and rear can speakers on the front channel. Seems like this is not using the full potential of this system?

The PMX-3 has RCA outputs for FRONT and REAR. We decided to use the REAR output as the SUBWOOFER control, allowing you to take advantage of the SUB (+) and SUB (-) buttons on the front of the radio. The video incorrectly states that the rear output is for the rear wake cans, as the rear is actually tied to the front speakers. Again, this allows us to adjust the bass level which is a frequently requested option.

The sub level is built into the PMX radio, so there is no "bass knob" available for this kit. We have pre-tuned the kit for the best overall performance and the sub level and built-in EQ can be fine tuned to your taste in music. However, keep in mind, this is an "open air" vehicle that has a different type of bass response compared to a "closed environment" like a car, truck, or SUV.

The Accessory RED wire in the Can- Am is on top of the frame that supports the dash. It’s hard to find, but here’s a trick… stand in front of the car and have someone lift up the center dash panels. You’ll be able to see where it’s attached. At 8:55, you’ll see Greg has a short subwoofer adaptor harness. Both subs connect to one end, then plug the other end into the Power Connector side labeled SUB.

Do you have this kit installed already? If not, I would suggest listening to it because it's freaking loud with the horn-loaded 8" tower speakers. However, technically you can add a 2nd set and run the rear channels of the amplifier at 2Ω, which the amp is stable at. This would be a custom installation, so you would be on your own since we don't have guides or instructions on how to do this.

You'll need to hard-wire the remote turn-on harness with a switch. This will require detaching the harness from the PMX radio that connects to the factory wiring under the dashboard. You can find that small harness attachment at timecode 09:40 in this section: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHnRd4F_q9iIl5I

Your wiring instructions are very poor and there’s connections that apparently go to nothing. Off the amplifier there’s three connections rear front and sub IN but only two connections front and rear is there not one for the sub?

Models that have an intrusion bar can cause front speaker panel clearance issues, so we don't recommend based on this 1 criteria.

Where does the sub in cable connect to from the amp

6:45 - run the subwoofer harnesses from the steering column in the dash to the [under] seat location. 7:09 - install the subwoofers and plug the harness into each subwoofer connector (remove the black plug). 8:38 - wiring the amplifier starting with the output terminals of the amplifier. 8:57 - connect the subwoofer "Y" harness to the amplifier's subwoofer output. 9:00 - plug the harness from each subwoofer into the "Y" harness.

Dash speakers will make the steering pull hard right. you will have to have the steering reset at the dealership with no guarantee that it will fix the issue.

Hi Roberto, Yes you can add a backup cam. In fact we released a new MX-CAM with companion harness (MX-CAM-X317) on May 3rd. I also sent emails to everyone who subscribed to the "Notify Me When In Stock" on April 29 when Stage 6 started shipping.
