Heads up for all: I bought this sooprinse foam cannon and the 1.1 orifice and foam maker kit in the description from amazon. When i went to change out the orifice, i put the pin that came with the kit through each orifice and like he mentioned it held the 1.1 steady but when i went to try to put it through the stock orifice it didnt even fit😳 so i'm assuming they changed the stock orifice size or theyre just inconsistant in manufacturing. Regardless im leaving the stock one in since its tighter and will see how well that does on its own and then compare the two.

Nice comparison. For the average home enthusiast, the $18 one is perfectly fine, especially with the mods you recommend. Even with the mods, it is giving the same performance as the V3 MJJC at 1/3 the price. A win-win for the consumer for sure. My first cannon was $10 off of Amazon and I actually still have it and have had it for about six years. It still performs decently for $10. My "go to" foam cannon at the moment is Griot's Garage Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon which is a fantastic foam cannon producing very thick foam. Heck, it might even be made by MJJC, not sure, but the bottle and cap look identical to the MJJC Version 2 Pro cannon. The new V3 MJJC has been a real standout product for MJJC and has a LOT of loyal followers and professional detailers who swear by the new blue V3 MJJC cannon. The reason I personally love the Griot's Garage Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon and also their BOSS Foam Cannon (I have both of them and love them both) is the fact you can hook up a smaller 16oz or 32oz bottle to the inner threaded neck and put in their "metering tips" which will syphon out the correct amount of product from your product of choice and put the correct dilution ratio (or at least "estimated" correct amount) but it really helps to save a lot of product waste. Far too many times I mix up a product in the included bottle and then I still have half the product leftover and either have to just spray it onto the surface or dump it out which is a waste of product. The metering tips solves that problem and I don't have to waste any time mixing up anything. I do like the clear bottle design of the MJJC. All foam cannons should use a CLEAR bottle with a marked dilution chart on the side of the bottle. That type design should be standard for any company designing a foam cannon. But again, for the average detailing enthusiast and weekend warrior looking to get good results for a lot less money, these amazon cannons are a good option. Most of them perform exceptionally well. The only advice I can give is CLEAN OUT YOUR FOAM CANNON OF CHOICE AFTER EVERY USE! I have had more than one cannon fail from not cleaning it out or from leaving a caustic chemical inside the pick-up tube or cannon head itself. As long as you just run clear water through the cannon head and pick up tube after every use, your cannon will give you YEARS of good service. It's the main reason a foam cannon fails. You probably will never need any replacement filters if you simply rinse out the foam cannon with clear water. The only MOD that would really be needed for most people buying the cheap (or even expensive) cannons is to put a 1.1 orifice in it depending on what type of pressure washer you have. If you have a gas washer, most likely the 1.25 installed cannon from the factory is perfectly fine and produces great foam. Sometimes when you install a 1.1 orifice is that it restricts water flow too much in a pressure washer and causes the motor to fail prematurely but that's all subjective I guess. Do what works for you is what I say. If you want a top quality foam cannon, the Griot's Garage Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon is one of the best deals. The only thing you would need to add extra is the metering tips because they don't come standard. The tips only come standard with their BOSS Foam Cannon which is also one of the best ones on the market today in build quality.
@talkingwithcarsАй бұрын
@@joevanseeters2873 I'm sure the Griots is a great product. Heard this from multiple reviewers for sure. Maybe I'll get my hand on one.
@joevanseeters2873Ай бұрын
@@talkingwithcars I think you'd be impressed for sure if you ever do get one, but it will probably perform like the MJJC V2 or V3. They are very similar. I just like the Griot's more because of the metering tips and having the dual thread system where you can hook up the bottles directly to the foam cannon head if you want to. Another cannon that I just saw recently that I really like the design of is the new Active Foam Cannon that just got released. That thing looks like it's built like a tank! The design is sleek and just looks like they used top quality materials to construct it. I just hope it performs as good as the Griot's or the MJJC cannons!

I think the major test would be in a professional setting multiple cars, day in day out. If the sooprinse is able to put out foam like that and withstand some long term use it'll really blow the lid open on some foam cannon manufacturers charging $100 or more for something that can be done with an $18 tool. @@jonathansteen1986 Hey ! Thanks for the kind words !! Personally, I believe the smaller electrical pressure washers have too much PSI and not enough water flow based on my experience. @@Ernestosgarage there's a few variables. the Pressure washer for sure but more importantly the actual GPM.
