Can an Eagle Mk II complete SIX assassinations at once?

Decided to go back to the old dual Cyto + Enforcer combo that works so well. For a bit of fun, I decided to pick up six assassination missions (and a kill pirates mission) to see how many I could get to attack me at once. Didn't quite go as planned.

This dual Cytoscramblers/corrosive fragments setup is great!! I tried it out on my Eagle MK II this morning. It’s lethal but I am not great at holding the ship steady to keep hitting the target. I think my main problem is that I’ve only played Elite on a game controller. I need a hotas. Other thing too about this setup is that I can’t get max boost performance with this weapon load out and boost above 700 m/s. Doesn’t matter though just as long as I can boost faster than 650 m/s I can avoid missiles and typical gankers.

Yeah I use two joysticks. Controller is ok but nothing beats 6 analogue axes of input. Dual cytos + corrosive is pretty much the most dps you'll ever be able to squeeze out of an Eagle but you have to be able to maintain

@@silverstyles5646 Thanks. I have 2 engineered cannons in storage. I'll test them this weekend. I was using 2 frags and an overcharged beams on my IE with good results and my Eagle was running the over charged beam and corrosive multicannon w/ a frag. I moved that loadout to my Imperial Eagle and I'll change the frag spec on that loadout. The dual cytos with frag I'm keeping on the Eagle. I think it's brilliant but I never used the cytos before because I can't hold a target no where near as long as you do in your vids. Going to look into the dual joystick setup. Hopefully Fdev does not kill their game any further than they already have. Going to try this setup on CZ.

Did most of my imp and fed grind in eagle, unengeneered with just a standard med turrer beam, until i got krait mk ii man.. those times, now just for fun with single mpa

Aw man you’re putting me to shame :’). Tbf I play on pretty used DS4 controller with drift. Love the music, is that technically ‘chip-tunes’ genre? Love the flying-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-ness of your vids! So much more exhilarating than using the big 3 to do combat. 👌🏼

I ain't puttin' nobody to shame! It's all practice. I use dual VKB NXT Premiums and they help immensely. Having analog control of all axes of motion is a life-changer. Flying by the seat of your pants, able to fail at any moment, sweating at every missile lock and juggling pips like a madman is the only way to fly, my friend! Big three ships is playing on easy and I never do that in any game ;) I suppose the music is "technically" chip tunes. They're taken from a number of my favourite Genesis/Mega Drive II games I played growing up: Probotector/Contra: Hard Corps, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage and Sparkster.

Yeah I redid my key-binds dozens of times and it’s pretty much full access to all of the most important controls all the time with minimal need to take thumbs away from analogs. Playing on easy ain’t my style either. Anything to push that skill level. (Ok my Thargoid vids are speedruns and quite ‘cheesy’). I’m working on getting orbiting down while doing the fight that way and I might eventually switch to a cold orbiter. Solo ‘Dusa is one of my next goals as well as Elite wing assassination solo! (Gotta be 3 vultures & FdL to be valid).

@@nyxzorander Yeah even I've not been able to pull off the wing assassinations in my little ships. A Vulture could probably manage but Vulture is too easy ;) I could probably pull it off in my fletchette Viper tbh as long as I don't lose track of them. I've never even THOUGHT about goids yet. I should give it a go one day.

I watched this video too many times repeated the build and finally was able to shut my friend down who had been talking shit for so long and i bought a mini model of the Eagle and i painted it with 1 kill on the side signed it and sent it to his ass

My gosh, the hulls are melting. I thought the Cytoscrambler is virtually useless against anything else than shields. Can you post the Coriolis fitting please? :-)

It IS virtually useless against anything except shields because their piercing value is 1... until you apply the debuff from corrosive shell on another weapon (short range enforcer in this case). Corrosive adds 20 piercing to all incoming weapon fire and then multiplies it by 1.25. Since my cyto's do 72 dps a piece, they're like crazy laser shotguns now. I actually can't remember the build but it was probably something like this: s.orbis.zone/khbv Yes, it's two different powerplay weapons. You can do the Kmart version by using burst lasers and a multicannon instead. The empty class 3 optional internal can be anything. HRP, MRP, shield reinforcement, fuel scoop, AMFU. Depends on what you want to do.

Short range + inertial impact. Most dps but shortest range. I fly close anyway so works for me! Phasing works ok but I prefer inertial impact.

@@silverstyles5646 I usually run at least one with long range and scramble spectrum on most of my builds if the 1 slot is there and I knew about phasing sequence but wasn't much of a fan unless a couple of em on cheifton or something

@@nobodysbusiness610 No, corrosive shell allows you to damage hull with them. Cyto's piercing is 1, corrosive raises the piercing of the attackers weapon by 20 bringing it to 21. Pretty much on par with the piercing of a normal small burst laser ...except this one does 72 dps (with short range + inertial impact, still affected by armour hardness). Corrosive additionally increases all damage taken by the target by 25% making cytos pretty lethal provided corrosive stays on. This is DEFINITELY full dps cytos because a hidden stat on inertial impact is +50% total damage in addition to splitting the damage 50/50 kinetic/thermal. It's insane.

@@nobodysbusiness610 I would never run long range cytos. No point. By design they're pretty short range anyway so rapid fire/overcharged/short range are the best bets. Scramble is a good choice but I opt for max damage.
