With 2100 HP the only thing they'll kill will be themselves. If you are going to think about setting an Playable Character against any NPC, take the HP value at Vigor 99 as a total base and scale it up to the Tier 10 scaling of the Shadow of the Erdtree. To unlock true DPS potential, set the character with perks granting him immunity to any form of stagger & ragdoll as well with maxxed all individual stats to avoid lacklusters. After that, I believe our beloved Tarnished heroes will be able to put up fights those will be a sight to see.

One thing I learned from this video, don't mess with Marika's children. Both Messmer & Phase 02 Consort Radhan (because of Miquella honestly) did insanely well against Malenia. Messmer literally got through her first two phases before he even reached his phase 02. Though he still failed he definitely gave his sister a run for her money. Now I want to see a video of all of Marika's children run some sort of gauntlet or something, So Malenia, Messmer, Miquella & maybe Melina (since she is widely believed to also be a child of Marika) all fighting together, it'd be so cool.

Furnace Golem got lucky that this new Unalloyed Malenia is now easier than the previous version. I doubt anyone would survive v1.05.1 Unalloyed Malenia considering that her Aeonias will stay permanent until the end of the fight (also she has extra projectiles coming out of the slam puddles) and Valkyrie Phase gave her the spear trail with almost all her thrust moves plus a significant elemental resistance, which is now removed in exchange for the full HP Valkyrie Phase

Well after spending tens of hours of learning the fight, she is actually fair. Personally I just enjoy fighting Unalloyed Malenia more than vanilla for the extra challenge. Besides, this version of her is significantly easier than the previous version (Yea, v1.05.1 was really painful and v1.06 was kind of like “Yep, she got nerfed too much.” for me). Also yea, you can’t really enjoy a bossfight instantly. You just gotta learn and once you master the fight it becomes really fun. Edit: Also the Rot Mist Phase is actually 100% scripted. Memorize when the clone is about to attack as well as the pretty big gaps in between since you will need to take advantage of the gap between the attacks to consume a preserving bolus. And yea, the mist only builds up rot and doesn’t deal damage.

Nah in all seriousness whoever made this mod props them, they really know how this shit works, like I could never make something like this ever. So mad props to them, they fucking killed it! Made one of the hardest bosses that even some of the best souls players even struggle to beat, like LMSH took damage from this boss when he faced it. So that's when you know it's hard.

Rot immunity honesty needs to become standard for anything vs Malenia, because once it procs (which aeonia WILL do if it hits, and it most likely will due to AI not making any attempt to dodge it) the other one is instantly put on like a 30 second timer regardless of how much HP they have left.

If you're not gonna make everything immune to Destined Death against Maliketh, there is absolutely so reason to make everything immune to Scarlet Rot

@@gangzilla5716 Maliketh is a glass cannon that shares a healthbar with his first phase, Malenia has the third highest boss HP in the game (non-DLC) along with healing on hit and two healthbars Also, if you haven't noticed, DLC BOSSES BASICALLY ARE IMMUNE TO DESTINED DEATH! He deals the player version of DD against DLC bosses for some reason, where it only does a tiny fraction per hit. Not anywhere near the numbers against base game bosses

@@KogasaTatara514 Why does everyone make a big deal out of Malenia's 2 health bars when her overall health isn't even the highest in the base game? Having 2 health bars isn't that special. And the DLC bosses are resistant to DD, not immune, which is what you're suggesting for the Scarlet Rot.

Removing the HP heal I'm fine with, but Rot Immunity? It's part of her identity as a character, it's interesting to see how they bosses would fair, but not as a standard for them fighting Malenia. If anything it's like a cheat code against her. Hell, the DLC bosses are already so stupidly tuned they mostly kill her anyways if she's not at NG+7 scaling, no?

And get rid of all of those mods to make Godfrey/Hoarah Loux's grabs work on non-NPCs, while we're at it. Who wants to see these bosses performing at their maximum potential, anyway?
