The Thai guy actually looked pretty Thai. His features basically screamed Thailand and from Thai dramas I’ve been watching, Thai people tend to have English/ object names so it’d be easier for people to remember them. For example like Sky, Rain, Type, Gun, Tutor, Typhoon, Pierce, and so on. So Prince sounds basically the same as the other Nick names Edit: I’m sorry if I offend any of you guys. Its not a surprise, we have chinese (specifically from.south and southwest china) who look more southeast asian ,and we also have many southeast asians who look more east asian (i come from a south chinese and thai mixed family ,know both countries and regions). For espevially southeast asia theres no such thing as 'typical thai/viet/lao etc" as the whole SEAsia region is for a long time already asian mixed

As someone who has watched a lot of Thai dramas (Lakorns and BL), I immediately knew it was Prince because he just looks like someone familiar that is a Thai actor but I can’t put my finger on who. Especially since his name was Prince, that was a big give away due to Thai dramas I have seen, they have their characters have names like Prince. Which can also be various names such as Typhoon, Type, Rain, Fighter, Talay (sea in Thai), Bright or just English names/objects: Pat, Pear, Jimmy, Jeff, Nut, Sun the list goes on 💗

One thing that East Asian should understand more about Southeast Asian is the diversity. Southeast Asia is more diverse than East Asia both in term of language or ethnicity. So, it is hard to generalize and they should not generalize Southeast Asian that all will have a dark skin etc. In the case of Thailand, people may have the steryotype of Thai people with dark skin from famous Thais like Tony Jaa, Buakaw or Lisa, but, actually, there are many types of Thai people. There maybe all of Asian types in Thailand. Moreover than the dark skin which is steryotype and the meaning of term "Siam" which has been exonym for Thailand for centuries and was the official name before 1939, there are also people with lighter skin in the North and Northeast, the hilltribes people such as the Hmong or the people with Chinese descent, even the dark skin has many shades, the Central region, the Southern region. There are also many people who are multiracial since Thailand has been important trading city for centuries, so there are many people from many countries come and have the mixed race descendants. You can see that there maybe people with different physical apperances in one person. Even some people have the physical appearance as a normal Asian, but if he/she traces back to their ancestors, he/she will find that they are multiracial.

I mean given a lot of Thai people by now also have foreign roots that can be quiete the trick to pull. But predjudicley going by the entertainment ndustries who both caught me big timee I probably would go with the once with medium high cheekbones, I feel there might be features you don't loose no matter how skinny and or muscular you're trying to be and eventually save 1-2-3 with mixed features because now I know a good amount of Thai people also once upon a time had Chinese ancestry. The whole time I thought can you show the cirlce fully, because I feel one by one is actually hard. But I suppose that's true for every other continent true if you put relativley same height and features Europeans next to eachother I wouldn't be able to tell as well and am one of them and (almost) as white as they come with sprinkles. ^^

Double eyelids dont let you guess right, many in Southeast asia get rid of theyr mono eyelids (some of my thai family members did, because they prefer the european appeareance..)

Idk the group but ik who was thai straight away cause i watch so many thai BL dramas 😂. But lots of thai people have wide nostrils which is an easy way to distinguish them. They also tend to have more tanned skin and their smiles are also very bold idk how to explain it. 😅

@@naurwaybro Yes.I understand but there are some idols that has a korean name (full korean blood) but their nationality is not Korean.They born and raised in other country that’s why their nationality is not Korean. There are also some of Kpop idols that are Thai but when you look at his face he looks like a Korean like Ten of NCT/WayV. Prince sometimes during comeback showcase,the host said that he looks like the american actor (I forgot the name),that’s why at first they said that Prince is like Korean-American grew up in Korea. There are possibilities also that in 7 members have a Thai nationality.They guess not only in the appearance but in language they speak as well.
