Love my bliss, and have been in them for a year. I contemplated the trailwalkers, but after buying the bliss, haven't looked at any other summer shoes. I do love the belenka rangers, which I removed the fleece insole and trimmed up a cheapie wally works insole to wear them on the wet days and winter, and they've fit the bill in those circumstances. New to the game and don't have much money invested yet, but have my eye on a bunch, haha. Thanks for the comparative analysis, very helpful and well demonstrated.

That's awesome! Bliss are my favorite shoes ever. I mean...the name says it all, doesn't it? 😊

@@BodyTranscendence, truly, rarely do we experience such out of the box satiation, especially for our endlessly imposed on tootsies. 👣💜

Thank you for such a detailed review and comparison! I've been inteigued by the Trailwalkers since I first heard the 2.0 was coming out last year....but at $169 USD with all thr marketing towards "easy hikes" I really wasn't sure if they'd be worth it. I have wide, flat feet (some arch developing after 3yrs in barefoot shoes, but still very flat). That made me leary of the Tadeevos. I've found that many of the shoes that cut out or shape under the arch of the foot seem to collapse as my foot pronates. One thing i liked about the Trailwalker is that the sole is even under the arch - not cut out or "bean-shaped". For now, I've been wearing SoftStar Primal RunAmocs for hiking and I have been enjoying those - although they could stand to have some ventilation.

Thanks for watching and sharing your barefoot experience! It's nice to hear what works for other people and what doesn't :)

The new TadeEvos are even better than the old ones. Sole is just as grippy, but that weird suede part is gone. They are also now stitched instead of just glued. I personally don't mind that TadeEvos let water in. The same way they let water out. After a long hike or run my feet sweat anyways and get wet. At least with the TadeEvos that extra moisture has a way out.

Yes, I like the new ones too. They changed the soles so they have the same grippiness as the originals.. There was one in the middle that was very slippery.

Thank you for theIs excellent review, I was gonna buy the Trailwalker but now you’ve changed my mind! How do you find the sizing? True to size? Take care!
@BodyTranscendence10 ай бұрын
Whatever company you order from, I would measure your feet and order based on their size chart. For Tadeevo, I normally wear a 37 but in Belenka I wear a 38. Just FYI, I recently got the latest version of the Bliss and they are a little different in design making them a tad shorter than the ones I reviewed. They're okay for me...my toes aren't squished, but I think in the future I probably would size up to a 38. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Have you tried the Ahinsa Chitra? My favorite minimalist hiking shoe. Amazing tread, vibram, but still flexible and great groundfeel. On wet rocks with a backpack on, no other shoe I’d rather have.

No, I haven't. I'll check them out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hi, thanks for your review ! I already use Bliss but I'm a bit desappointed there're too narrow to me and not strong enought ... I was looking Trailwalkers but I m a little bit afraid about the leather, are they breathable enough to run with them ?! Thanks !

Considering I wear socks only when it's freezing 😅

I personally wouldn't run in the Trailwalkers. Take a look at Ahinsa Chitra. I recently got them on the recommendation of another viewer and they're great. The toe box is wide and they're breathable. You're right about the Bliss. The toe box on the latest version is more narrow than it used to be. Thanks for watching!

@@BodyTranscendenceOk thanks ! Because of breathabilty or something else ? I'll take a look at the other ones you tell me about ! Thanks !
@BodyTranscendence2 ай бұрын
Just personal preference really. I like a bit more traction and I like more flexibility than a straight leather shoe gives. They may work better for you though :)
@thibaulterrard77062 ай бұрын
Ok thanks for your answer ! I do like great flexibility too and also a really wide toe box, I'm just a bit afraid by the 4mm +6mm outsole and grip of the ahinsa chitra ... I use to run with z trek xero shoes, magical shoes explorer and sole runner fx trainer 5 (great shoes but no grip at all ... And they stopped it for a narrow version with an outsole with no flexibility compared to the old one ... that's too bad !!!!)

Great review. I too love my Tadeevos. So comfortable and grippy in most conditions. The sole is also surprisingly wear resistant. My next favourite is Freet. I have the Pace, the Tanga, the Richmond (for non-sports wearing) and have just ordered their Feldom for trail runnung. I do also really like BeLenka and have a pair of their desert boots which enjoy wearing for casual..
