You easily can trim Bystial names for board breakers to beat Kash, and not getting your own pieces Bystialed is really good for you. Plus Branded Fusion can be a 1-card Ariseheart out, and punishes over-emphasizing zone locks really well

@@nsgspartan7179 Arise-Heart's effect has to be cl1 because its mandatory. This means that if you choose to activate Merc's effect as cl2, you cannot use Rindbrumm's effect to negate Arise-Heart's effect that chain

Hey PAK, I've done some modifications to the build to help consistency a bit. I added 2 branded in high spirit + 1 kit and removed ad lib + trag. You end up at 41 but you can get access to branded fusion alot more with the same amount of bystials. I've removed trag because if you remove ad lib it's mostly just a dead draw. I've also modified the extra deck a bit to add mudragon since you already had garura to try to fit a super poly package in there (to play super poly in the side deck). I think ra's disciple + expulsion in the side deck is also a great way to beat alot of rogue + kashtira since they auto loose to ra's discple. (they only play book of eclipse as an out which you can ash)

Keep in mind that you can also send Ad Libitum instead of Garura for double Mirrorjade play by going into Lubellion Fusion then Mirrorjade,would allow you to cut the bird from the Extra and you are already running Ad Libitum.And you can bounce Bystial Lubellion with Rindbrumm on your turn for the follow up,especially when you not ending with Branded Beast on the field or if you already have other Bystials in hand.

Fusion Deployment is now a MUST in this deck. Going 1st helps ss Cartesia to extend or either helps you get into Branded fusion. Going 2nd its 3 more ways to ss Albaz and super poly away something annoying with Albaz. Also, if you open Cartesia + Fusion Dep, just ss Albaz with Dep, and then ss Cartesia with her effect :) Cards too good not to be played post PHHY

@@Chackothewacko the card alone doesnt, but assuming you dont have access already to b fusion means you didnt open like 9-10 possible cards. Getting albion shrounded and saronir effects to dump = send retribution + branded fusion, then retribution banish to add back b fusion. So for example if you hard open saro, or lubellion search saro -> cartesia fuse into Dusk with saro. Saro 1 send retribution dusk 2 send albion shrouded from deck. Albion eff dump b fusion, retribution eff. Orrrr if you dont have saro/lubellion but do open albion or a way to get into albion -> albion dump retribtuion, draw, then cartesia with any other monster into dusk -> dusk dump saro -> saro eff dump b fusion… theres multiple ways to do it but the end goal is resolve both albion and saro

But I also feel like the deck build needs to change a bit as Tear isn't such an issue anymore. having 1 Bystial in hand can stop their fusions , most the time so not as many are needed or worth playing anymore.

there is no reason to not run 3 fusion deployment, the card itself unbricks your hand by special summoning cartesia. Also having 2 cartesia is standard you can get one milled / banished from Kashtira it hurts your combo. I think the starving venom fusion dragon is better over the predaplant and super poly is still a good going first or second card to break boards. But there are so many different ways to build it, but I want to optimize my hands going first. Also the spicy tech at the moment is branded expulsion to just put a monster on the kashtira side to block their plays

They are a top 3 deck this upcoming format if not top 2, they love playing Bystials in main still which automatically tears up almost all the rogue decks and they play 3 super poly in the main because they're the best deck at utilizing that broken card. Fusion Deployment in this current format is an S tier card for them as it allows them to summon Cartesia as an extender or summon fallen of Albaz as a board breaker to super poly. Cartesia makes your aluber now dodge things like imperms and veilers super easily and in case their Branded Fusion gets Ash'd they always have the Bystial line. You can even play a Baronne de Fleur in case their Branded Fusion gets ash'd as you can turn Cartesia and any bystial into it if you want to. They also received 0 hits this format and everything around them got 10x weaker and they weren't even bad last format to begin with. Post CYAC they'll be the tier 0 deck to beat and I suggest you invest in the deck now as the prices will only keep going higher for them from now on. Also don't forget, less Bystials in the format means they can resolve Branded in Red with Ad libitium and if that happens once then it's just game over for your opponent, it makes you go plus 4 or 5.

Would cutting a saronir work to add a lubellion? Lubellion is effectively a 3 more copies of saronir and I rather have the searcher than to brick on bystials. It also can be used as ash bait since ash is coming back to this format. Its also a way to keep the despia reviver, which i totally agree is good for grind games.

12:35 if you instead searched magnumut off the start of the combo with lubellion and play springans kitt, you can add kitt here, special summon it, use it to grab branded in white, and then do the same plays of summoning mirrorjade and you can actually bounce the kitt back for some more follow up. You trade a random draw for more follow up and another bystial

I think one thing that is throttling this deck for this format in particular is how kashtira can both reactively banish on field as well as pluck extra deck slots so going second is even more difficult, add that to the lesser effectivity of bystials to counter kashtira and it becomes hard to play going second and even harder to keep playing through disruption with limited extendibility.

A lot of lists are swaying towards Fusion Deployment as a means of turboing into Cartesia. I think your Bystial package is probably a little too high going into a Kash format. I'd probably cut a Saronir for the third Lubellion since he's your search target in the combo and isn't as useful once you've already done your Retribution line. Appreciate your input as always, I think this deck has potential if more decent players keep trying to innovate and draft with it. I hope you keep playing with it!

I really like sprigains kitt too. You can add it instead of albion when searching off lost or mercourier, and it can help put a brick back to the bottom in exchange for a branded in white or whatever you need. It’s also another way to get branded fusion in a pinch. Idk what’s your thoughts?

It also can be albaz in gy if needed but I’m just saying you typically will get to add two fallen of albaz monsters during the combos so it’s gonna be Cartesia, albion or kitt as needed for me. I’d be willing to cut kitt over albion obviously but having kitt as a way to un brick my hand seems really valuable atm.

As for the combo why not send brigrand with grandguignol, than when using white you can use the albaz in grave and the guignol from field for mirrorjade. Guignols effect can be also activated from grave, and in EP you can search for the second mercourier, so you have one more eff negation instead of a random card from garura. I know you search it off lost next turn after red but i think it's better if you have the option to merc before that, also more resilient board since you have guignol from grave.

Post banlist, we might have to play crossout again, like we did before. Deployment is actually cracked in the deck, it's a free albaz or cartesia ss. Bystials are going to be diminished, saronir magna and lub are for sure staying tho, it depends on what people are going to play. We might also put a dramaturge (since the format is going to be slower than it was where a"dead card" was a death sentence) because cartesia drama is a free double masq and a trigger negate which is really oppressive. Hyped to see the guu that people cook up as branded is absolutely my favorite deck.

@@vitorapollinario9335 All I'm saying is monster handtraps might still not make a return now due to how powerful the new triple tactics card is. Therefore, decks who don't need to play alot of Handtraps to win will go a long way. Despia is the 1st thing that comes to mind: 1-They insta shit on every light/Dark deck as they will always keep playing Bystials as it's an engine for them. 2- Their new support solved alot of the decks problems and made it much more resilient to handtraps like ash and veiler. 3-Mirrorjade can get pretty much get rid of every single boss monster in the game that's not unaffected by card effects. 4- compared with decks like Swordsoul and Mathmech, those decks need to see the right handtraps to win, their entire board is nothing compared to Despia or Kash and they complement it with handtraps which makes the deck RNG whereas Despia is just inherently powerful and can break alot of beards just by it's own engine, even more so now than before. I played a lot against both Mathmech and Swordsoul before and let me tell you even pre Bystials Despia and Mathmech were on par, but now after two new waves for despia, they're easily the better deck. As for Swordsoul, you pretty much always win against Swordsoul if they don't have the Ash in their hand on top of their established board.

Branded is one of the few decks where you can play 60 in the main and have great success. Chaos Hunter is a great three of in the deck against Kash/Runick.

Just play lancea in the side man, much easier, also book of eclipse. Don't forget, Despia plays 3 super polys in main which can F Kashtira in their Draw phase if they happen to have both Arise heart and Diabolosis. You can just super poly in their draw phase it's so funny. Fusion deployment summon albaz to turn it into mirrorjade is also really funny as they don't have a way to stop it apart from imperms or veilers. Also, Cartesia now let's your aluber dodge things like veiler imperm and other targeting BS effects that's why Fusion Deployment is a crucial 3 in this deck now, it serves as both like a board breaker and an extender. I've been mainly playing this deck nonstop for 3 months now in all my locals and I can confirm they'll be a top 3 deck in the upcoming format if not top 2. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they top a YCS. The only decks that hurt you alot are the backline decks sometimes like Runick or Maybe labyrinth if they have a floodgate.

I’m afraid to say bystials belong in the side. Saronir is decent because it has the most synergy with the deck but that’s about it. You don’t wanna see dead cards ever. Bystials are essentially dead cards because we can’t link or xyz with them.

No. Bystial Saronir and Lubellion are almost never dead cards. The other 3 maybe, but those 2 are almost always great ways to get to combo plays. Lubellion sets up lost(arguably the 2nd best card in the deck aside for Branded Fusion) and searches Saronir. Saronir himself has a bunch of shenanigans he can do in tandem with GranGuignol.

I think id rather be on chalice and impermanence than nib ash main this format. Ash is cracked but id like to be able to tag the shangri ira or arise heart to break the board instead. and its just 6 ways to play through the lock and are also just okay going first. Maybe veiler over the chalice so you can use it as material for a chimeral could be good too. Side deck wise concealing light i like much more in general than eclipse because it doesnt punish you if you cant completely clear the board and isnt ashable like eclipse is. Def would like to side nib in general. Bystials id just only play the 1 saronir since its the weakest and the new one is just generically better. Digging the deck so far.

I’d say imperm and nib are the best rn. If tear was still around at full power I would agree ash would be very good but now that we are going to see mostly Kashtira, runick, floo, spright, d link, etc… ash might be decent but not enough. Still could fit it in many decks like Kashtira but also ash plays into TTT so it’s really just there to be a check to the rouge decks and it counters this deck very very well. Ash on branded fusion is still always the right play. Also I think less saronir is okay if you’re not playing the branded in high spirits but it is a very good and consistent card in branded. You want to see a Bystial in hand for the new combo so boosting your count of bystials doesn’t kill you but it can make it more bricky (ie opening a hand of 3 bystials, tragedy, and a trap against Kash is real rough )

@Mason Steele i like chalice a lot more than nib main because you dont want that card in your maindeck going against lab game 1 id rather have literally anything else also dont wanna turn on thrust or talents with my current hand traps. I also agree saronir is def the weakest bystial by a mile you could cut him down to 1 total and still probably be perfectly fine. Could also just continue to play super poly this format if you really want to. Against kashtira because you can turn shangri ira and arise heart into a mudragon. Floo i doubt is gonna continue to be playable especially considering how bad their kashtira matchup is without the statue.

I’ve been play testing mainly with kashtira and I find regained to be the card I would cut for the 3rd Lu but our list have some differences so you might cut something else

3rd lubellion is sometimes an overkill, especially going 2nd, just play 3 magna and search it in the end phase if you go 2nd and if you go 1st, you can either dump it via Branded Fusion like usual or the new Cartesia fusion. It's not bad having the card in your hand but it's by no means necessary, I think 2 is the sweet spot.Also please play 2 cartesia and 3 Fusion Deployment and 3 Albaz and 3 super polys otherwise Kashtira will be a nightmare.

@@low_gradetuna8126 Fusion deployment is basically your 2nd super poly card, it summons albaz from the deck which is nuts against so many decks and let's you go directly to mirrorjade, but it can also serve as an extender to summon cartesia. Never a dead card imo.

Why didn't you play allure? I personally want to test with 2 cartesia, but One i think Is fine, for lubellion o think 2 Is ok otherwise only 1 lubellion Is ok too, i want ti play It with more baldrake and Allure, that works so much with tragedy

Thrust isnt for this deck imo. Deployment is better if youre on multiple cartesia imo. Since you are summoning cartesia 99.99% of the time off it drawing it plus cartesia puts you in a not stellar spot going first.

Ogre could also be good, can hit birth and it is much better against floo (map) and spright (gigantic) also can hit perlereino. Ogre is also light so it can turn on the bystial engine.

U should always make the fusion in the chain with branded lost 2 and lost 1 so they don't ash your lost because they can't respond to the fusions effect due to the losts game state that's were if you don't have protection from nib lost can get u the second bird if u don't remember to add back
