I think a few different parts would be cool, kind of show the progression that you can take pretty easily like 10/100/250/500m. Kind of showing like, If you have 10m, you can turn it into 100m in a week, and then take that 100m and do a little higher tier bosses to show how you can turn that 100m into 250m, while obviously keeping the testing around 5-10 hours. I feel like the issue with most of the “road to whatever” series is that there’s literally 1/2 of an episode of low - mid pvm and then the rest of the series is “I kill telos for 200 hours and now my series is done” or raids or whatever. The issue with those series is that people who are in 10m gear aren’t just lacking in gear, but knowledge. So itd be nice to see a steady incline in boss difficulty to show how you can begin to get into higher pvm as the gear AND experience gets higher level.

We’re all grown now and don’t have the time or money to just sit and waste time. At least I don’t. I try to play but these days o just feel burnt out. Soft maxed too, been playing for 15-16 years. Idk, I just don’t have the drive for 120 all. F going for 200m all. I have mega respect and admiration for anyone with the time and money to get to 5.6b exp.

Most ppl who play are those with maxed stats, the newer players are so low in population it financially doesn't make sense for them to appeal to new players because the game is a nostalgic based one where its growth for new audience is severely limited. You will have to grind like most of us dod, the game is way easier today, RS3.

@@Sammysapphira very true. For the longest time, i held off doing Rax, Telos, Nex coz I felt I'll get this then I'll head out there but the gear and things kept adding and adding and i delayed. Then one day I just went and did Nex and reached the ice phase before I died and it was an experience. Still make a ton of mistakes today but I'm well beyond the learner stage. Sometimes you just have to do it. This event also surely helps a ton.

A part 2 would be amazing.This video was a perfect demonstration of what can be done and expected when starting PvM at lower levels. Most tasks in Runescape have dozens if not hundreds or thousands of paths that lead to their completion. Multiply that by 99/120 levels worth of tasks for all 28 skills and you start to see why players get overwhelmed along the way. For a lot of people who struggle with anxiety about doing new things (progression), watching someone else perform that task correctly and from the same level of understanding of the task that you possess, provides the assurance that it can be done and the knowledge of how to do it.

Great video. It's not about being poor though. I feel like in RS3 prices are high, you make a lot more cash than OSRS, but also you level up faster. Like I have 70 smithing just doing Protean bars from spins that I get daily. Simple, that's why people don't have that much cash on them. Like I did wisps while range training, they gave 1-2m on hour, while not being t70 gear, nor t70 stats anyway :) I want to get into PVM and this video is great to show people what to expect when you're starting out :)

Devs should release more low to mid-tier bosses, I often find myself not wanting to sweat bullets fighting high tier bosses and rather chill with a drink in my hand at a low to mid-tier boss after work

I have only been playing runescape for 5 weeks now and absolutely love it. I have to say though, the bossing isn’t close to what i expected it to be. Worked my ass off to get 92 magic and 85 defence so i could start bossing and went to Helwyr. And i have to say, i got completely demolished. I even watched video’s and tried doing mechanics but damn, this game is amazingly steep in terms of combat to someone brand new. After some exploration and more training i have found out that theres gwd bosses and this glacor boss, which i have killed multiple times now. I still think the game lacks the possibility to gain skill in learning mechanics in different fights alot.. it’s tough

Great video, but can you do PVM progression? Maybe like, start with your 10m here and do these bosses. Then upgrade to a different boss (mid lvl pvm) then end game pvm. I am not sure where my account is at here. I do have almost max combat but don't have soul split / herblore, so I always struggle to see where to start. I do a lot of ED3 trash runs

Just did Barrows for the first time in a few years and after maybe 2 hours I got the Ahrim's Staff at 21.3m! Didn't realize it was the most expensive Barrows drop until just now! I just wanted 1 drop, but I didn't expect that haha.

This is a really helpful video. PVM is very possible in poverty gear. The fremmenik armours are probably worth looking at. t55 and t65 power armours for a really cheap price.

I use the t65 Fremennik sets when I'm doing stuff in the Wildy. Paired with a Royal Crossbow(300k)/Lunar Staff(30k)/Abyssal Vine Whip(180k) with Bandos Warshield (100k) or t70 off-hand dragon weapon (100k)

Some more tips for Dag Kings at the cost of questing: - Fremennik Boots 4. Level 60 tier, but adds 10% damage boost with autos, and 5% boost with abilities. Auto notes bones. (Achievement Diary reward.) - Balmung. Level 60 tier, 15% damage boost with autos, and 7.5% boost with abilities. 30% bonus to hit chance. (Blood Runs Deep quest reward, only works against the one weak to melee unfortunately.) - Upgraded Balmung, Level 75 tier, 35% auto attack damage boost, and 17.5% ability damage boost. 45% bonus to hit chance. (Koschei's Trouble miniquest.) General tip: - Spring Cleaner. Disassemble or alch the Dragon hide armor. - Magic notepaper. Note the hides. Note anything above the cost of the paper, and anything that High-Alchs for more than it's GE price. (At the time of commenting, they were running 390-400 per paper.) Notable mentions: Keg of beer, Potions, unique armor/weapons, Dragon Hatchet, Rings. - Bunyip. Passive healing. - Area-Loot. Find the tile where the melee King spawns and stand next to it. You'll never have to move much.

A very good magic set up is T85 ports magic gear and weapons. Free t85 and can use animate dead. You can easily kill most low and mid tier bosses and slayer mobs. I am using it while I save for the FSOA and no point to spend 2B on t90.

You can even upgrade them to t88 mh and oh. Works incredibly well with gconc and animated dead. In fact, I have close to max mage gear and I still use t88 oh because I just cannot justify the price tag on t92 oh for a minuscule damage upgrade.

When i was going for my Flawless HM Zuk, i started with Ganodermic, Cinderbanes, Obsidian Helm and Blast Diffusion Boots, weapons were a Cywir Wand & Orb and a T90 Shield. Also i got GChain and GConc. Animate Dead is crucial here. I had BIS Perks already, but I'd say entry level would do just fine. In those runs, I found myself reaching all the way to Zuk but i didn't had any food left for the repeated Pizza Times (i believe i did like 6 cycles). However, that might be due to my inexperience at HM then. Now that I'm done with that challenge, i can definitely say you can do HM (albeit slowly) with just Ganodermic, Obsidian Mage Helm, and Cywir Wand & Orb with the T90 shield (although an ancient lantern defender would also do just fine), you don't really need too much GP to do one of the best GP/HR boss in game, aside from the Ability Codices (which you should already own if you're a Magic User). WasWere Guide is a great resource here, you can understand about positioning and which are the hardest waves, i believe that helped me about an 70% in the process.

I learned solo Araxxi and Solo Nex using Royal Dhide, a Royal Crossbow, a Fury Ammy, and Overloads without boosting prayer. Was also still kind of a Noob and didn't use an Aura so if you used an Accuracy Aura it would probably way easier. This was also before Invention came out so some basic perks would help out as well. For Nex the main thing is I had to kill the Reavers. Every guide tells you to just burst Nex down during Blood Phase. But nah with welfare gear and no skill you had to kill the Reaver. The main thing I'll say to anyone PVMing on a budget is that you can do a whole lot with just a Royal Crossbow and Overloads. You're not going to get the mythical 20-30m/hr but you can kill the bosses if you want. Don't be afraid to take a Yak. And understand that you are going to fail before you succeed. And when you get that upgrade you actually feel the difference. And that feeling is amazing. You lose that as you get better gear. I went from Pernix with basic perks to Elite Sirenic with maxed out perks and I didn't even feel a difference. But going from Royal Dhide to Armadyl, yeah you feel that. And that feeling will keep you wanting to get more upgrades. It's a fantastic motivator.

If I could have gone over by a mil or two, I would have done ganodermic and unlimited staff of water. It's just crazy how powerful animate dead is, add like abyssal wand and t60 shield and you could do nearly any boss as well as most good afk money makers. Unlimited staff of water saves water runes when using incite fear. Quest/diary/dg rewards for amulet&ring spots. If magic level under 99 and only the eight or so quests for animate dead, then limitless staff of air, amulet of glory, ring of life.

This makes me want to try ED2 with a Masuta's warspear, Bandos armour, a kiln cape, an asylum surgeon's ring, and a dragon rider amulet. Before perks it adds up to just under 10 mil (since the jewelry and cape are free) and I'd probably go a bit over your budget for cheap perks. I'd expect it to be doable but extremely slow.

Any quick tips on pvm? I cant do daganoth kings because every time i switch combat style my spells randomly change and get me killed. Also, I cant shield switch and then use the ability to heal because it dosent automatically trigger, rather it waits a few seconds and its too late.

Check your "Ability Bar Binding Settings", there you can bind any weapon style to a particular action Bar (i have a video about it on my profile, although it's more focused towards RS Mobile). That way, whenever you switch weapons, your action bars will change with them, for Instance, if you switch to a Magic Staff you have the Magic Ability bar, if you switch to a Bow, your bar changes to your Ranged Abilities, same for Melee, and so forth. Although the thing with Dagannoth Kings is that you want to be on the outer rims of the arena to take them one by one, otherwise you may have 3 of them hitting you at the same time and that's going to take a toll on your Food and Potions. They're quite simple and you can even do them on mobile! Although you may need to see a guide beforehand (Nuzz Nuzz, Protoxx or Maikeru have amazing guides), and then, if you want to see a Mobile Playthrough you can check out my profile for a brief example.

The spell issue sounds like some sort of settings thing. You can set it up for when you equip a bow for example, your action bar switched to the one you use with that combat style. Not sure why your spell would be switching out tho. Shouldn’t matter besides for the magic DK. Also, I know keybinds are hard to get into, but even just keybinding the 5-10 most important things for PVM and learning it will be extremely helpful. I can do most high level PVM (raksha, rax, glacor, nex, etc) using minimal key binds. In my opinion the most important ones are your protection prayers and soul split (4), food and brew (2), shield and resonance (2). That is 8 key binds which should be fairly easy to learn. And it will help a ton.

I think 92 prayer and 96 herblore is still a significant assumption. Both skills are slow to train unless you are buying materials, and in the case of prayer it is easiest trained by training combat sans buying, so is it reasonable to assume 92 prayer with 80-85 combat skills? Overload could maybe be substituted with Super Warmaster's, there's only a 3% boost difference and they can be bought for fairly cheap--the boost isn't maintained, but that may not be necessary for most bosses. It sounds like the Twin Furies may be doable with 71 prayer from your commentary? May be best with a BoB, but, that assumes you have a summoning level for a decent one... Just some thoughts

Best thing I ever did was do the vampyrium quest line to unlock the sunspear and kill vyrelords to train prayer for free. So much cheaper than training prayer any other way, as well as less tedious and you make some profit along the way.

Honestly i would change the crystal armour for a warpriest armour, specially a warpriest of tuska because they are hybrid t75, have special effects and are obtainable by killing mobs in gwd1 and the tuska by making the mini game related to. About the magic weapon is great a sunspear magic, for melee weapon the masutas wars pear, and in cape probably an obsidian one. The thing I will unchanged of your gear is the Royal crossbow .

I usually bank all of my items and grab the iron mace in Edge and just go from there. The rules are your's to make. I prefer legacy mode and no off-hand weapons. Then I'll just slay my way and boss a little. Tend to stop at 10m profit. Note: You wasted your entire budget and went with a t70 weapon where you could have gone 1-iteming and gotten ALOT better results

You can still make full armor sets of whatever the best tier is for your smithing/crafting level, At least that armor is tank armor which will save on food and you can last longer while learning fights, 90 def and 90 smithing/mining make full elder rune +5 for example

You should do whatever you're having the most fun with. I enjoy doing all levels of PVM, its a nice change of pace going from long glacor streaks and ambassador solos to dag kings and gdw2.

@@NuzzNuzz my highest enrage at glacor is oy at 244% 75 hard mode kills and 540 regular havnt rlly been lucky at that boss no wen drops or langs I don't even have the new ancient spell book yet still working on that quest but ya I can solo ed2 but I sucl at ed1 and ed3 lol

Alex, my man, just keep damaging twin furies until the bomb comes and just 1 second before use surge, that way you can make the most of the bomb phase :).

Hey man, I watched your video where u fought high level monsters for 10 hours in return for about 3.00 us an hour. I guess mtx thru buying bonds was easier for me. Anyway, after watching that video of yours I sold all my combat gear. It's apparent how Jagex developers have really made an effort to keep paid memberships. This is my third time back to rs3 since 2007. I think I am ready to quit again. There's no cool prizes for everyone, good stuff costs alot of IRL currency. In 2007 it was fun, just a game, I came in after they ruined wildy player killing. It's all mind tricks now. It's a real shame how people spend their lives and hours at a game that doesn't appreciate what you put in to it. I wish Jagex's money grab wasn't so greedy. Running servers and paying personnel. This used to be fun, now it's mind numbing, a bad drug.

I can't even complete the challenges in normal mode zuk with max range gear.. i don't even have a cape upgrade yet haha

They're pretty simple in Normal Mode if you have the means to attack multiple targets for challenge 1 and have high hitting threshes for challenge 2 (i have an RS Mobile showcase of a Semi Flawless NM Run, because i teleported before Zuk Fight). I'd say, if you have it, use a Combat Dummy (ideally the ones from Invention, MKII or something) for the first challenge. As soon as Zuk Drags you in the middle of the Lava Circle, place your dummy and use multitarget abilities like Ricochet or Chain, obviously GRico and GChain are ideal here and almost mandatory for HM, but NM is slightly less tight, just make sure you have enough adrenaline to place a Death Swiftness or Sunshine before Zuk Phases. Also make sure you're at least 60% Adrenaline before attacking the Mobs in challenges 1 and 2. Challenge 2 is similar, just make sure you're under an Ultimate (DS, Sun), and use high hitting thresholds, like Rapid Fire, Snapshot, Asphyxiate, Smoke and Shadow Tendrils, Wild Magic, and if you have the Zuk Capes, Deadshot and Omnipower. That should take care of challenge 2. And that's it for the most part. Ranged is fine for NM, i mean any style can do, although HM is definitely more simple with Mage, specially if going for the Flawless HM Cape.

You can make money at Kril with low tier non degradable items, air surge, and no potions lmao. Just use a vamp aura. Dont reset it either.
