My husband had cataracts I put pure castor oil in his eyes for 5 nights. Cataracts are gone! That was 2 yrs ago. Cataracts started coming back after 1 1/2 yrs so I did again for 2 nights, they cleared up again and he sees great and no problems or irritation. No prescription so no money to be made by doctors, so they tell us not to use it.

Castor oil can penetrate deep into the skin. Can break up lipomas and bone spurs. If you put it on your eyelids at night wouldn’t it make sense it could penetrate and break up floaters?

Hi Dr Rupa, I have a lot of floaters in my eye the thing is I have so many I am going blind. I am only 40. these floaters are not normal they are like long strings, like a snake or a worm. I feel like its like a parasite in my eye, or bacteria. I go to my eye doctor but says its normal. It just keeps getting worst and worst.

I have 3 (2 in one and 1 in the other) and I understand! I've had them for a few years.. Some days they stay kinda out of the way and other days they stay right in my field of vision and make things blurry and hard to read..I hate it so much. They did tell me it's normal and they should sink.. They haven't. If they break them up I can have a million little ones that are too lightweight to sink... I'm danged if I do, danged if I don't.

I’ve heard that getting a vitrectomy increases the likelihood of acquiring cataracts. Could you please explain that in a future video?
@Dronanknight14 күн бұрын
If you remove the full vitreous. Yes! If you do a core vitrectomy not yet. After some years.

I am 62 and just started seeing eye floaters. It's like a blackish blob that darts back and forth in my right eye. (no retinal tears or retinal detachment per my doctor). Do you believe that, in someone my age, that the brain will adjust, or gravity will pull them down and I'll adjust to it? Or does that happen more for younger people? Overall, do you know what percentage of people this happens to? 50%, 80%. Have there been any studies of this that you know of? Thank you so much!

M now suffering bcz some castor oil enter my eyes, it’s day 5 I went to the doctor my eyes became so red itchy and puffy from inside and out now m using drops it I used pure castor oil 100% natural be careful y’all m now m way better, it still dehydrated even tho m using drops for dehydration and other drops for the infection and the damage the oil caused to my eyes , if you are seeing this don’t worry put a wet towel on your eyes to calm the itchiness and will help you not rubbing your eyes cz it’s gonna make it worse if you can go to the eye doctor as soon as you can and if you can’t and it’s late at night just do the wet cloth on your eyes and go in the morning to check your eyes, don’t use screens like I did cz my eyes now is so dehydrated bcz of what I did hope this can help someone from being in such situations as mine love y’all and take care ❤

I had flashes in the eye, but it went away. Should I be worried? And no I have not seen an eye doctor, have to have a referral.
@nemo2275 ай бұрын
Everything means something and the best way to find out whether it's important or not is to get the examination. Ask your primary care doctor for a referral. Always share your concerns with your doctor. If your doctor doesn't seem to be listening . . . get a new doctor. Your health is too important to stay with a doctor who doesn't listen and discuss your concerns.

Doc, I had cataract surgery in December 67 year old male, toric lens put in because of slight astigmatism in both eyes. Had blurry vision that did not go away. My surgeon said the yag was not needed in my case. Went to a second doc and at first he wanted to do yag, but then changed his mind. Not sure why, still have apt with him at end of the month. Frustrating to say the least. I see kind of a clear fluid pass in front of my eyes. Anyway, is there a tell tell sign to you as an ophthalmologist that yes yag is right or no it’s not? Another words from a eye check, can a doc tell if the floater is from cataract surgery so yag would be used, or no it’s not that but floater is in the vitreous part of the eye.? Thanks

I even tried ciclosporine to avoid side effects of long terme use of corticoïdes. I also know that I have meibomian glands dysfonction. I want to get help.
