I've LOVED the series with Cecilie. I really enjoy her willingness to be vulnerable and admit to her fear on the wall since it's such a big part of the sport when someone is pushing their edge. Thank you for supporting her on this journey. :D Awesome footage and editing as usual!

Hey Magus, just wanted to say I’m a new subscriber and I came from Juji. I don’t watch your channel ONLY for rock climbing. I love the quality of your all your videos and the inspiration it gives me. Feel free to make whatever videos you like! 👍
@airballer3246 жыл бұрын
Absolutely wonderful video! Loved the picture in picture of the route. I'm starting to think you hired a team of experienced editors... Watching Cecilie climb was inspiring, but watching her know when to quit was even better! So cool to see someone so conscious of her limits mentally! Show the run please!
@Paola-bb7qk6 жыл бұрын
Nice vlog, as usual! Respect to Cecilie, we were all cheering for you, but it does not matter if you did it or not, the important thing is the journey you shared with us and that was amazing! Thank you both!

I loved this series! I'm always impressed by the high quality of these vlogs, and these training videos with Cecilie were especially inspiring. After watching these, I went back and watched almost all the other videos you've posted (which may seem overboard, but they were really motivating). Just wanted to say that I love what you do, and I hope you keep making videos for a long time. The gym videos are really helpful and the outdoor videos are super inspiring. Also the marathon video was so funny!

I‘ve been following your channel since the beginning and I really love how you keep getting up with great ideas and awesome people to do projects with. I think cecilia is doing an incredible Job and your‘s is the only vlog I know that kept the quality or even increased it over time! I also love the balance you strike with giving your sponsors credit but at the same time keeping the focus on the content!

Thanks for sharing Cecilie's journey on climbing, its been fantastic to watch. Climbing isnt all about sending, its about the journey of getting stronger, pushing yourself and having fun! Cecilie definitely got stronger, she pushed herself and she seemed to have fun! Good job Cecilie!

It's hard admitting that you need to come back to a route, especially when you've been working towards it for so long - but I totally admire the collective outlook of "climbing should be fun". Definitely what is most important!

Watching Cecelia work this route brings the mental aspect of climbing into sharp focus. I remember going through this myself when learning how to sport climb. Learning the movement, clipping efficiently, just having time on the rock gets one past those barriers.

I totally want to see you try a marathon. Seeing you try athletic feats outside your normal routine is great entertainment and motivation. Aside: How about a series of vlogs where you bolt a new route and work out the moves, hopefully getting a first ascent? It is motivating to see you work out hard problems and routes.

I've just recently learned about this kinda sport but im already hypnotised by all the new challenges and fun i will have with it in the future... even tho for now i am not rock climbing but mostly if not to say only bouldering i want to try it all eventualy. Since my body is in a horible shape due to me being a lazy idiot, that forgot how amazed he is by moving and doing sports i got a rather tuff start in to the game but still... i am motivatet to go ahead, to just build up my old strength, to drop some weight and work my way towards the top... some of that motivation came also with your videos... it is amazing to see what is possible and even tho i might never even get close to do anything like your stuff i'll try to never give up and keep my exitement about it.Ohh and tbh. Cecilie should definetly get her revenge on that one because i'm sure that she can clear that mind of hers and beat that rock! Amazing edit once again, fitting musik beautiful shots, looking forwards to the next video

What a pitty that Cecilie did not reach her goal yet. However good to see how you guys cope with that. Normally I would frustrate the hell out of myself if I don't reach a set target. But you guys are right. Climbing should be fun. Running can be fun too. Maybe who knows? ☺ Thanks again for a super video. And oh, by the way nice to see the difference in flow and speed between the two of you climbing 7b+ vs 8b+.

Very useful set of vlogs. I struggle with falling confidence too. If I know I can do a move, I'm fine. If I'm pumped and above gear, then I'm as gripped as if I'm soloing. I've climbed up to 7c with this mental handicap, I just wish I could learn how to push the boat out.

Magnus as a climber myself I would like to see if climbing fitness translates to running fitness. As I have been wondering about starting to run to build endurance for climbing. I don't think the muscle groups used for climbing translate to running. However I would love to be proved wrong. Keep making great content and love the outdoor blogs. Good luck with the marathon!!!!!!! 👍👊
@danielfry80976 жыл бұрын
Spoiler alert; It doesn't transfer. Running is cardio endurance with your legs climbing isn't really cardio at all and uses predominantly upper body. I'm a runner and a climber ;)

Sure you should do it! I mean i think one of the first thing that brings us all in the climbing world is pushing ourselves. If running a marathon is pushing yourself i want to see it. Plus the look on her face when you told that you may go with her.. who can refuse that.
