Literally just downloaded the mod today, but I wanted to first try out historical Germany on it. It's kind of the same, but with the use of the different new decisions, events, modifiers etc. manpower no longer seems to be the problem for Germany. I must say however, that I expected more cool stuff like new Reichskomissariats or focuses/decisions associated with the integration of Southern states like Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria etc. I mean, the mod creators literally added a Focus tree for Bhutan, so I kind of expected new stuff for Germany too. Still, the mod is far better than Vanilla.

By the way, check out the Game Options menu before you start by the way. Germany has 2 different Focus Trees. The latest update basically just uses the default Germany Focus Tree because the AI has a hard time navigating the RT56 one, but if you're a player, the RT56 Germany tree is much more engaging, imo.

@@artimex723 A lot of countries have alternate trees, and they're all worth checking out in my opinion. Whether the mod defaults to Vanilla or RT56 for its tree is mostly decided by which one the AI understands better, but the RT56 trees are worth checking, even for countries that had DLCs replace their original trees.

alex a tip to you become a little just a little bit more independent of airforce and focus more of your factories in equipment.use AI on tanks and infantry. If u do 7/2 (7 infantry and 2 AI ) it can pierce medium tonks (AI 2 i would like to say ) but if u dont want theres no problem just a tip!

7/2s are pretty mediocre divisions nowadays. Alex has even mentioned in lots of his past episodes that they've really fallen off compared to previous DLCs. They really don't seem like they push very well and mostly seem to be good for defensive filler.

I just had a really cringe mp game in r56. I was honduras forming the banana empire, mexico was killing america and losing to me, but then it had a civil war and the civil war side joined the axis which i was in and capitulated the mexico that was killing america. America allied with the netherlands which germany attacked. I tried to invade america but they had divisions behind my front lines and the mexicans didnt join the war, so i could only defend some parts and if i retook land it went back to mexico, and it became impossible for me to do anything to america because of mexico and germany.
