Some games force every frame to be displayed and doesn't drop any. If that is the case here, then one can easily create a video where the frame are displayed at their intended speed. Even if the game ran at 1fps.

3:46 Okay, explanation required. Flak (Borrowed from the German acronym for anti-aircraft gun) works using one of two methods: time-fuses or proximity fuses, or "Variable Timed" as it was called back when it was first developed to keep the real technology they used (radar) secret. These rounds would probably be the best choice against a horde like this, surprisingly enough, but it appears that the guns are firing High Explosive shells, which is basically just a shell filled with high explosives with a simple contact fuse on the nose of the shell. (High explosives produce a high speed shockwave, hence the name; a contemporary example is Torpex. Low explosives produce a lower speed shockwave, like black powder or Tannerite.) The explanation you gave best describes armor piercing shells, which require extremely high velocity to penetrate the target's armor. The "88" was a high velocity gun due to its role as an AA piece designed to reach high altitudes (higher velocity means higher effective range), and was found to be so effective against armored ground targets that it was pressed into the field artillery role as an anti-tank gun as well.

I hope more WW2-era and history stuff in general gets added. Maybe Russian ski troopers from Siberia who can sled around the battlefield and then walk normally when they get close enough to fire at their enemies. And Finnish snipers for obvious reasons, the White Death is iconic. For Japan probably kamikaze stuff is the most iconic, maybe kamikaze planes. Britain... errm.... spitfires maybe, or some Lee Enfield troops? I dunno, Britain didn't have much going for them in WW2. In terms of further history, gas warfare stuff and the classic British tanks (maybe 2 versions, 1 with cannons and the other with machine guns) from WW1 would merit inclusion. I would love to see the Gurkhas as well, they have swords so should probably switch between gun to sword if the enemy get up close.
@gdfgaming97 Жыл бұрын
it genuinely pained me when you said us brits didn't have a lot going for us in ww2. May I ask what nation you hail from?
@tk-6967 Жыл бұрын
@@gdfgaming97 Britain. and I meant that we don't have much iconic stuff from WW2 thanks to the US media portrayal of the war other than the air battles with our spitfires.
@gdfgaming97 Жыл бұрын
@@tk-6967 well that is unfortunately true but if you go looking for it then there are plenty of examples of good british things from history. One thing I am liking is there are more ww2 british films coming out more recently. For instance we were the ones who invented the sherman firefly which for its time was about the only tank we had that could take out tigers and panthers. The Commando's and SAS were both forged in WW2 and were used with extreme effectiveness to the point Hitler issued an order they were to be executed if captured, this breaking the geneva convention. They were that good. Look up the Raid on St. Nazaire for an example on the commando's. Our Artillery was actually better than the germans as it was one of our favourite tactics to use overwhelming amounts of arty. the 25 pounder artillery gun was statistically better than the flak 88. Tank wise we were a bit lacking but the matilda was so up armoured compared to the rest of the tanks in 1940, the germans had to somewhat cheat with the flak 88's as their normal AT just couldn't penetrate the armour. The Crusader was a fast tank that got upgunned and helped win the desert war and the Cromwell was statistically better than the T-34, even if it was produced a bit late. Honestly there are so many great British stories from WW2 that I wish would get more limelight but I still hold out hope they will get to them eventually. TLDR we actually did have development.
@tk-6967 Жыл бұрын
@GDF gaming Yeah well British equipment was overshadowed by German and American equipment. German stuff was generally better and most countries had far more material. Also, our army was lacking in general, and even in the mid-40s our tank design had only reached late 30s level of design, which meant that we could beat Italy but relied wholly on lend-lease. I would argue that the SAS and British commandos in general have only become *iconic* nowadays thanks to the embassy rescue when they were publicly revealed for the first time, but of course their contribution is huge. Honestly the US itself did very little during the war, but everything it has is iconic: The jeep, the Higgins boat, the Sherman, etc. The Japs have their Zeros and kamikaze tactics. The French are the blue guys. The Germans have Panzers, Tigers, Panthers, the SS, etc. The Soviets have T-34s and Stalingrad is known to have happened. Meanwhile, us Brits are stuck with the Battle of Britain and the stupid North Africa campaign which is rightfully overshadowed by literally everything else because it should have taken far less effort to win but Gen. Montgomery was an idiot who got British and Australian troops pointlessly killed.
@gdfgaming97 Жыл бұрын
@@tk-6967 Have to correct that, Monty wasm't actually a bad general, he was one of the reasons we won the second battle of El Alamein. He mostly gets a bad rep due to his rivalry with Patton
