Is definitely a good 70. Get that straight up and down swing, like you're chunking a big red bait. You're losing some distance with that slight left to right.

Ok and will do next time. Casting is an art and skill. It's my first conventional reel with magnetics. My other conventional is a Penn Squall 50LD on a 12' not really meant for casting but I still try anyway. 😂 Will take more casts to master it but at least I know how to handle it without bird nesting. U casting like u would cast out a spinning reel. When u cast conventional reels its better to start casting over head and you need to to hold down the butt of the rod with 1 hand n with the other hand hold the reel. When u cast u pull the butt end and push the top (hand holding the reel) try to get more practice on the soccer field bc if u casting like dat on the pier u gonna cross everyones lines lol
