Love the way the wife acknowledges the years of work her husband put in to the business. Building that beauty from the ground up, absolutely impressive. Man has a good woman by his side. I can understand the pain when they lost their 10 years old son. It was the same in our family, we lost a 7-year-old, brother to cancer in 2013, Since then I remember the horror we had to go through, my mother could not overcome the pain and relinquished herself to alcohol and died in 2015 (November). My father would carry his photo on his chest and walk crying day and night until he died in 2016 (January). I remember ever since my brother died until my parents, we never had a good meal together. The kitchen was just like any other room in the home. But now, Since it's been many years, we live in their memories.❤ It's heartbreaking to know their story too. ❤

I know what you are saying, I lost my 23 year old son in March 2010, I went to bed for 7 years. I couldn't. Only that something was wrong with my health, I went to a Doctor, and found I had Hashimoto's. From then, I got up. So I say, getting sick kind of saved me, I have a daughter who needs me. Recent reviews about the lodge are mixed with alot complaints about it being too expensive,alot of stuff needing maintenance and the closest people get to customer service is via texting its a great place for a stop over or fishing trips worst place for long stay,honeymoon or holiday

It's always the money and pompous property owners charging too much for what they offer. I've had some of the loveliest times in cheap student motels and British lodges. Basically paying for a bunk to sleep in with the friends nearby in another bunk. With the high rate of visitors, the rooms were kept near pristine between visits. The other rooms of the facility were free to use and breakfast was included. This is for minimal cost. Sure they have potential, but the prices I usually see in Hotel Hell are ghastly when I've gotten better for 30€ a night or less.

I've just checked the booking and they've got 8.2 which is quite good. Also the prices don't seem to be too expensive. 410$ for 2 nights in a room for 4. 100$ per person for 2 nights does not seem too much.
