Howdy everyone! Just a quick update here to say I've been in the middle of moving, am almost totally moved into the new place, and starting next month will be putting a lot more focus on creating content. I wanted to really put some good work into this one, but I'm sure there may be an editing mistake or two that got overlooked amidst everything else going on. In case anyone is wondering about stuff like houndoom: Some good Pokemon in a playthrough can often be bad in competitive (ever used a luxray?) The opposite also applies where a competitive Pokémon is a bad for a playthrough (training a wobbuffet for levels sounds agonising) Pokemon can be outclassed (Dragonite is a far better bulky dragon/flying type than altaria, and it has offensive stats) Houndoom is not going to stand a chance when Chi-Yu exists in this generation

Ok, but can we talk about how Larry had to be both an Elite Four Member AND a gym leader? Like how bad is the economy in Paldea for him to have to get two very important jobs? Was…was there a normal type gym leader before him and the pay was so bad the first one left and he had to take the job? Like being a gym leader sounds like it sucks now.

Since you have almost finished the F-tier hardcore nuzlocke, will you consider doing Ash's pokemon hardcore nuzlock? He used pikachu, butterfree, pideotto, bulbasaur, squirtle, mankey, muk, krabby, kingler, and charizard (and haunter against Sabrina I guess) in Kanto, and apart from Charizard the rest are somewhat weak. Also, thank you so much for this series!

To be totally honest, I never really did get into the anime, so that's probably why I never thought of anything like this. But I've got a friend that does similar runs, so I might have to do some research! You're right that I'm going to need a new series soon haha!

Squawkabilly actually doesn't purely have cosmetic changes. White and Yellow can have Hustle as an ability while Green and Blue can have Guts I think

Green and Blue get Guts, while White and Yellow have Sheer Force! Unfortunately those differences are locked to hidden abilities, and all four share the same two normal abilities of Hustle and Intimidate.

I'm only a little ways into the video right now but I want to tell you how much I'm enjoying it, and that the music/narration sound mixing is really well done. The exploration music in this game makes me oddly nostalgic, so it's nice to jam out to them while I watch the action unfold :)

So, after rewatching all the F tier nuzlockes, I can say that this is my favourite, mostly because it uses some of my favourite Pokémon too! It has been an incredible journey among the regions Keeper, I can't wait for what you'll cook for us in the future!

I think the Tera blast typing is normal before the Pokemon terastalises. I say this because I witnessed Geeta’s glimmora sludge wave my leavanny in a bug nuzlocke when I was expecting rock Tera blast, planning to terastalize to grass to take the hit. Tera blast always would’ve done more damage if the post-Tera damage was considered

This was my assumption, that AI saw the move as it was before terastalizing. Geeta being the only character to actually use the move doesn't really make that intuitive to know, which is sad given the importance of the move.

Cool video, but theres no way Houndoom belongs anywhere near the F tier. Its more of an A tier, at least for an ingame playthrough. Something like Toadscool or Dudunsparce would probably be in F tier instead.

Haha, you're not the first! I'm still trying to beat RR normally! Most challenge runs I see of romhacks like that are usually in the form of lowest BST, or cutting the dex in half, etc. The "F-Tier" might need to expand a bit just to give enough encounters to get through a game like those!

@@keeperplays Rejuvenation uses Gen 1-8 without any stat changes, but the only problem is that the game is really hard to nuzlocke, even on the Easy mode. 🤣 The game is 15 chapters as well, and still in development. I am only in chapter 6, but it is so fun and has so much plot.
