That's true for 80% of the time, but Kenki does have an attack in which he dashes forward, followed by an anemo slash, so he can escape that corner but that's kinda rare I guess.

maguu will always dash to where your camera i facing, and this includes burst animations too. but the mages will always tp to where your character is looking, and the same rule applies to the whopperflowers.

Same here, heck I didn't have Zhongli until his second rerun and I was still doing fairly well in the abyss. The only decent shielder I had was Diona and she carried me with both heals and a good shield. Though I suppose it cause I played Honkai and PGR more often, so dodges there are kind of a necessity xD

Also, I don't know if you understand how a nilou bloom team works but the extra blooms he would generate from having a second dendro in the team would way outshine Yelan's damage contribution in this team. Also, about yelan's hydro application, in bloom teams you are better off keeping a dendro aura on the enemy while triggering blooms with hydro to generate two seeds at a time instead of only one, Nilou's ring and kokomi are all the hydro application he needs.

The only thing in your head is damage damage damage instead of thinking about synergy and survivability. Zhongli isn't necessary. Learn to dodge, have a healer for backup. You gotta learn enemy attack patterns. Stop using shields entirely until you can survive normal stuff.

here’s some abyss teams that don’t rely on zhongli: yelan w/ sunfire jean, miko hyper carry w/ dmc, Alhaitham/miko aggravate/quicken, Alhaitham hyper bloom, hu tao double hydro double pyro, hu tao triple hydro, kaeya melt/reverse melt, ayaka freeze (2 options ayaka w/ mona or ayaka w/ koko). I’ve tested all these teams this abyss and had a lot of fun :))

I even play on mobile yet I don't struggle like this even without using Zhongli. Guess team building is definitely his main problem here, struggling without using Zhongli in almost any team he plays. It hurts me to not see Albedo in his Itto Team despite having him and chose Noelle instead just because of the shield yet Bennett & C4 Gorou can survive him enough. Another thing is that he probably forgot picking Kazuha then use other DPS or even like Xiangling in this video especially against those Frostarm Lawachurls.

Team building and a tad bit of game knowledge too. 😅 He could've used Raiden National on first half of floor 12 and beat those frost lawachurls so much faster - giving his second team so much more time. I'll give him that Wenut is a big pain in the ass bc it's pattern can be so random, but Magu Kenki can easily be manipulated by aiming your camera to the staircase/wall, forcing him to not teleport everywhere. He really got too much dependent on Zhongli and onga boonga everything atp.

I think a big problem aswell not only with you being too uses to having zhongli is that you never learned any attack patterns of enemies or bosses. The hydro hypostasis fight was always like that and you waited to long at the start for your set up, and it got downed again because the hydro slime blew up in its vacinity. I think a video where you learn attack patterns for bosses would be cool, and good for your play overall.

as a player who doesn't rely on zhongli, this video is painful moga, other shielders exist (diona, thoma, layla) [and healers, you were really making yourself struggle in floor 11 with no healers second half] and also, for your geo team first half, you shouldn't use both noelle and itto. choose one and then throw albedo (or someone else) in for more geo particles. running a dual dps team rarely works well (gorou and bennett heal so you wouldve been fine with just itto gorou bennett albedo) and don't forget to use nahida's skill!!! you got this, hopefully april will be a period of enlightenment for you 🙏🙌

Here's a tip against maguu kenki always Try to hit him and there is a wall in front of you because maguu kenki back dashing not teleporting. So if he tried to back dash he can't because there's a wall behind him.

For the hydro cube, i would recommend taking the heal from the light blue hydro slime as he spits it out to the hydro cube, it heals your active character rather than healing the hydro cube

After the one month of not using zhongli try not use zhongli too much to get better at dodging again. Also try to build a team that is not center around zhongli with big shield, try using a team without a healer my team hyperbloom only has xq as a healer that doesn't heal that much but It help me get better at dodging

Well you can only have one half with Zhongli so you still need to dodge sometimes. And Yoimiya is one of the characters that are just annoying to play without a shield.

If you’re struggling to beat Abyss without Zhongli, then having him won’t change much. In fact, it’ll just make you perform even worse. I’m honestly glad you’re doing this challenge, because you NEED to stop relying on Zhongli. Hell, I’d even go so far as to say you should make it no shields at all.

It's Noelle's Atk, you can't swap two other characters if she is attacking or in the middle of Atk animation including charger Atk. You can dash to avoid.

Cryo and even Pyro is a lot better on the second half of Floor 11 for the oceanid animals. I just used Mono Cryo with Ganyu, Shenhe, Diona, and Chongyun. Also for the Wenut, I like using Hyperbloom. I struggled a lot until I started adding Tighnari to my team. It saves so much time not having to run around too much. Also Raiden's E can bring the Wenut down quick too. My team was Raiden, Tighnari, Nahida, and Barbara and I was able to 36* pretty easily. I did have to retry maybe around 3-4 times but it goes much faster with low-cooldown skills. And by the way, I play on mobile so there is more hope for y'all PC and PS4 players.

I managed to 36 star the abyss this round after falling last cycle! The difference was a Flower of Paradise Lost set on Shinobu and Barbara splashing dendro cores on the Wenut. Barbara 行くよつ！

@@maple1748 this! Thoma + Hu Tao with Yelan + Xingqiu is so good, more hp, more damage for hu tao and yelan, also buffier thoma's shield and Xingqiu's heal gets better. Also, Xiao+Faruzan, Albedo+Zhongli or Xiao+Faruzan, Thoma+Bennet. The only time when anemo and geo characters can be in the same team, since they don't need reactions and their resonance buffs ultimately xiao.
