So glad to see such interest in this video! I apologize for the stutters and stumbles. I'm in my busiest season of work, and editing down 6 hours of raw footage and recording a 15-page, single-spaced script literally took an entire day this weekend. Not an excuse for poor quality, but just an explanation. You guys deserve better from me, though, and I won't do it again. Thanks for watching :)

I found this video from the homepage, so being able to come home from work, sit down and see a souls creator I never knew about and enjoy watching, I will always call that a win and a sub gladly gifted. As for the stuttering and stumbling, you wanted to make a video for you audience, and you did. Yes it may have not been perfectly what you wanted, but I, and I can guess many others, still enjoyed seeing the results of your hard work. Keep it up, because I am excited to see what you think up next.

This video made me think, that I really need to fight Dancer, Nameless King and Pontiff again. I feel like I haven't done that in forever as opposed to the DLC bosses and they really do deserve it. Great work putting yourself through all that misery. I can happily say, that we both experienced the horror that are the Demon Princes elemental resistances since I did as well on my pyromancer run. Haha

Congrats on finishing this run!🎉 I really like how you did your best to use almost every single Weapon Art in this challenge, and at least some of them (Friede's Great Scythe, Farron Greatsword, both Pontiff's weapons and MLGS) turned out to be really amazing.

I feel ur challenge run perfectly encapsulates why I feel weapon arts in games like ds3 to feel very underutilized. Especially when you realise that mashing R1 is way more viable than using the cooler weapon arts. Moreover, because most of the bosses are really fast and can recover asap, the best strategies for weapon arts with prolonged wind-ups is simply to wait for longer openings (which is def tedious) if you don't wanna take any dmg. While face-tanking dmg using the high dmging weapon arts is viable, its def not very satisfying also finally someone who called out nameless king's P2 relentless combo output. Sometimes his down-time is really short, making these types of challenges even more agonising 😵 also finally someone who also find gael P2 more challenging than the rest of the phases. Sometimes his cool-down after 1/2 combo atks are really quick

Yeah, it's really lame how many Skills in DS3 are borderline useless. So many are essentially just a normal attack that's a bit slower and costs 20 FP. There a few good ones, but it's mostly boring stuff like quickstep and endure. ER was a huge improvement in that regard, Skills in that game tend to be a lot better and almost all of them have at least some niche.

Yeah because DS3 isn’t l2den ring. In ds3, good weapon arts are entirely situational, if you make a SINGLE MOVE better than your R1s and by extension your R2s thats just as reliable, then you just get things like pre nerf dual spears with a little fp cost. Making weapon arts more viable, alongside four player limit, ruined elden ring’s pvp and made the pve feel just as braindead.

Nice work. I think Deacons could have been done using only Deep Soul with the help of alluring skulls - some runners have done the Deacons just using Kirk's armour.

46:04 darkeater midir the second hardest boss of the whole soulslike games that can attack you with every single part of his body the first one is ornstein and smough with miazakys theme (symbol of avarice old witches ring gift calamity ring dusk crown ring cursed no vital level up no armor deprived ng7 ) so the hardest is midir

Good video, but for some constructive pointers, you should re-record sections where you stammer or lose yourself in the script. I also think some of your word choices were a bit “big for the sake of being big”, like “circumferential sword swing” and “explosion that propagates outward”. I’m not saying that you should dumb it down, but the word choices could easily come off as pretentious. Overall I thought the video was very good, and it’s a really interesting concept for a challenge run. Keep it up!

Thought that about "vexatious". Which, yes, "vexing" is a good word, but you could also just say "frustrating" and come across much more clearly to viewers.

I appreciate the kind words. This, however, is the way I talk. It's not coming from a place of pretension, but I understand if it appears that way. It's not my intention, but I also want my channel to be a place where I can be my genuine self. If that bothers people, I don't begrudge them, but I'm gunna me here.

Yes, ypu can't backstab Friede with the Rose of Ariandal. They can't perform critical hits at all in all of the games they appear in.

It's funny to think that in the context of DS3 the Deacons' candle is a laughable weapon but I would ve perfectly fine with it in ER for the casting option alone! 43:35 I never understood why Fromsoft doesn't really let us properly use these "mine" spells, it's analog on ER also loses it's properties on contact with the enemy and it sucks

I was slightly hoping that this was all of the weapons/spells together against the boss this seemed painful to play through much more with every replay per weapon.
