There's a lore reason behind Super Mutants being resistant to crotch-related trauma...in the first game you find out that Super Mutants are sterile, due to the Forced Evolutionary Virus "correcting damaged DNA", aka chromosomes. In fact, in the first game, if you deliberately target a Mutant's groin, they will taunt you and inform you the groin is not a weak spot. Also in Fallout 1 there is unique combat text for damaging a female NPCs groin, my favorite being "She takes it like a man. That is to say, it hurts."

I suppose, super mutants would technically still have genitalia, just not gonads. At least that's kinda what the logs in the first game say "removes secondary sex characteristics" and even the master knows it doesn't destroy the genitalia Additionally there is apparently a distinction between the 2 with supermutants in 2 still having sexual desires. Really it's just the east cost super mutants that become asexed

Here's the thing: you could have *technically* counted women as casualties as well, as, while they don't have testes, there are just as many vulnerable nerve clusters and major arteries in the "hip-box" that it doesn't really matter what sex they are - jimmy shots drop *everybody.*

Testicular torsion version B: You can only walk, you cant sit or wait to skip through time as itll hurt too much so you need to lay in bed if you want to pass time quicker. Fast travel optionally not used as travelling should be painful. If youre using medicine that increases your pain resistance then you can run while on its effects.

Fun fact : Dogmeat was modeled after River, a female dog a dev brought to the studio to give everyone inspiration. They even used barks recordings of hers. My point being : you've killed dogmeat, technically a female, therefore rendering the run that ensue NOT valid ! (JK. I've liked the video and I wanted to support you by commenting nonsense :) )

Considering the crotch is a VATS targatable body part in Fallout 1 & 2, this should be a default. Oh, and how about doing it with melee weapons only... Now that i think about it, Nick Valentine is a synth, and he is a Model 2, so he isn't fully functional down there. He should be immune and should be able to stay alive.

Tesicular torssion is could be lore accurate considering that they are sterrile but in the classic games they still get dunked if you shoot them in the crotch so i don’t know.
