Looking forward to this! Ralts is one of my favorite pokemon. I have a recommendation for a future pokemon challenge. Can you beat the game using only one Hitmonchan and you can only use the elemental punches in battle. I know with the universal Pokémon randomizer, you can have your starter Pokémon arrive holding a held item. That way you could do the whole run using only the punches.

Yes! The Ralts line is by far my favorite in the game! Not for the normal reasons mind you. My first Pokemon game was FireRed and I used to love the Abra line, so I would run around with a team of 3-4 Kadabra, but I had no friends to trade with and got kind of annoyed that I couldn't evolve them. Then, I was playing Pokemon Ruby looking for Pokemon and found Ralts, thought it weird that all it knew was Growl and decided to train it, then I realized that it was a strong Psychic type that had 3 forms (I believe this was before bulbapedia) and I had myself a new favorite Pokemon.

For fun I've been using an over-leveled one in a mono-ground run of Pokémon Shield (because grass types kick my ass) and it's been ridiculously solid (thank you Eviolite), especially since it has relatively low HP so Leech Life can get back a high % of its total HP. But in Gen 3, Leech Life only has 20 powers (and there's no Eviolite)... Also its only Ground moves are Mud Slap and Dig. It's pretty unbalanced so I think it would be funny. It can learn Aerial Ace and Shadow Ball. Surskit can learn the always useful Ice Beam and Water Pulse. Probably gonna turn out easy but who knows?

It would be refreshing, since most of your last challenges were in Red/Fire Red, espacially when you use a pokémon from the respective generation (i would also like B/W but i get that it's harder because of the exp system). Always love your Pokémon challenges, but I wish we’d see more of the wrestling reference nicknames! I miss those! Abra for Ralts or Growlithe for Houndour or stuff along those lines are funny, but the wrestling references are a nice treat for those of us who are wrestling fans, and there’s no negative impact for those who aren’t.
