I see possible optimizations. Instead of using your feet to brake you could use the steering bar with some form or brake pads on the bottom to contact the road. Also the back portion with the driving wheel needs some form of suspension to maintain contact with the ground. You could also reduce some of the material in the back portion by using different geometry such as a trapezoid instead of a rectangular prism.

Me and my cousins used to tie our wagon to the back of whoever’s car and go down a mile long road as fast as we could when the car slowed down the handle fell down into the dirt and that was our break. And yes the tires melted off after a while.

think if you used the drive wheel as a puller on the front it might had been safer as you wouldve turned the wheel with the wagon steering and not had pushed the rearwheels off the ground as its rotating under acceleration , it mightve skipped while slipping under acceleration , but that wouldnt hurt under acceleration (though it might lift the front wheels off the ground under braking if you dont let it freewheel) with the drivewheel in the rear it might help to make the chassis longer and mount the engine in front of the drivewheel , this puts more weight on the rearwheels of the radio flyer and prevent the power put to the ground front trying to rotate the frame backwards seen those luge guys use their feet bror braking and they basicly stuck pieces of car tire under their shoes , might want to use pieces of hardwood instead to reduce the force on youre ankles
@ChrisRollins Жыл бұрын
Yes i agree! If i were to do this again, which i may 🤷🏼♂️ id start with mounting the engine MUCH lower! So much weights up high was causing me to fight wobble
@watahyahknow Жыл бұрын
@@ChrisRollins if you alowed to slightly modify the flyer you could move the rear axle of that back a little too as that might prevent the weight of the pusher hinging too far behind the rearaxle and puts more weight on the front , mounting the pusher so it actually hinges on the rearaxle between the wheels ( prolly too weak for that though ) would eliminate the chance of it lifting the front wheels as the weight is pushing straight onto where the wheels touch the ground and not behind them

He gets an A+ for video composition, an A for daring, a B+ for planning and execution, and C- for judgment (but hey, he's young and has a few lives to burn).
