Oh, that reminds me, when we were 7 y/o, me and my sister, along with our nephew and neighbor, made a motorized wagon called the Totodile. However, they put a message in it that said “Alim, don’t touch” then we sold it to our other neighbor. God, I wish I got to drive that thing. It was dangerous, though, as the first test drive had my sister ejected from it due to it never having a seat belt. After that, we sold it to our neighbor in fear of it causing even worse injuries. So, in short, imma make a motorized wagon again!!!!!

This video deserves two thumbs up. As a side note, such an unstable vehicle with limited steering can go off course very quickly at speed. A pace vehicle driving parallel (even at a distance) can provide excellent camera footage but may in turn be dangerous if an unexpected event pulls you in its direction. Re: blown tire.

@kdowl81833 жыл бұрын
Amazing job! The only thing I would have changed is the steering, I wouldn't put any steering lol I would just replace the front axle with the back axle from the second wagon. There's nothing to hit out there and 0.5 of an inch at 10 mph isn't a lot but 30 plus your gonna move a lot with even the slightest turn.
@tfrowlett87523 жыл бұрын
Great video, and I have some advice for a previous video of yours. Your hailstone video was good, but the technique for making hailstones is flawed. Because the ice freezes all at once, it becomes brittle. Real hailstones do so much damage because they freeze in layers. One idea you can try is putting a bead on some thread and alternate dipping it in ice water and liquid nitrogen. This effectively laminates the ice and makes it very, very hard. Richard Hammond used this technique in one of his documentaries on water, and it did a lot more damage. Might be good future continuation?

Great start! It is possible to go even faster with a change in the steering system to provide better stability and maybe just a different set of tires. Your pivot point and steering system are great at low speeds while being dragged along but at high speeds can easily get into a wobble. If you add a steering rack and move the wheels further forwards you get that stability that you need. Also stiffening up the chassis can't hurt at all.
