I can't believe it either, I think I just happen to live in the perfect state for it & we try to give a wide variety of foods & types of bird feeders too!

The shorts are so cute🥰 my experience in crocheting clothes without a pattern is it will take a lot of trial and error. My first time trying to make capris I had a difficult time with where I needed to split for the legs because I was making mine in the round. Well the split ended up at my kneecaps 😂 then the waistband was stretching because I didn’t put an elastic band in it. Needless to say a lot of frogging happened but my next attempt was much better. Then I attempted a crochet skirt. My first attempt failed but my second attempt went really well💕.

Phew you're making me feel better, bc i kinda want to try again in the future. So thank you!

@@maybebre go for it! There are always going to be issues youre first time doing something new so go ahead and make all the mistakes you want that first time so you can learn from them on the second attempt.

Regarding overalls: I wear them for work as an aircraft mechanic apprentice and all I can say is find the right brand/pattern for you! I love Dakota and Carhartt ones, but I had to go a size up from my normal for them to be comfortable 💜

I feel like they would make me chaff but I do love the color and scallop detail!

Adorable shorts!! Is your great grandma perhaps southern? All of my memories of sun tea are from when I grew up in the Deep South and we would put the tea pitcher out on the porch (covered) instead of in a window. Your tea sounds delicious btw!

That's a great question, she was actually from the midwest! The only thing I can come up with is that she was German, and I'm pretty sure there's a huge tea culture there! Ur question caused me to go & look it up, so thanks!
