And on top of that, because he was an immigrant living in Canada I believe he got taxed *again* on top of that because Canada and USA fought over who should get his money. So, while he thought he'd be getting tax write offs and had saved enough money for tax season, he received bankruptcy instead. Then, because he was poor before and had no credit, he had no choice but to go massively into debt when things happened that forced him to move. All told he ended up $1m in debt, but it was 90% the insanely unfair tax laws that got him, not his whaling. @@dylanisaac1017 it wouldn't make sense, it's better to make somebody want to spend, by for example boosting content creators so we see them get lucky and want to pull ourselves. they do give them a lot of primos so who knows. but if you're unlucky tho, you could even have 20,6% of winning a 5* (which would be 20 times the normal rate) and still not get it in before pity. we don't know what they do, especially they're in China so there is more room for shady stuff
