can I finally use my 1989 john deere 420? replacing the drive shaft

The drive shaft can be removed without moving the engine. Remove the fender pan, fuel tank and two access panels. Remove the 4 yoke bolts, slide the shaft back on the pump splines, then it can be wiggled out.

No it can't. Tryed every way posable had to move the engine forward.
