My dad was a plumber and showed me a little trick with rubber, be on speakers or like my old Rover Metro tilt sunroof which allowed water to get in, just get some washing up liquid on the tip of your finger and rub gently into the rubber and it will absorb and plump back up, worked like a charm, no more leaks. I use this technique all the time on my old speakers and the rubber surrounds are still like new, not showing any signs of perish, and still sound as good today as they did when I bought them in 1990. Hope this helps anybody else. Helps to do this before any signs of damage start to appear.

This is what I do twice a year - wipe mine with a damp soapy cloth to neutralise any oils that cause this issue.

Your setup looks great, but please get a better mic.

🙂 I hope you mean the in-vision sound rather than my voice over mic. This video was recorded before I obtained a wireless lapel mic, I'm using that going forwards
