Don't forget to take a screenshot of your TRUST test so you can show any law officer you run into that you have taken the TRUST test and you at least understand the very basics and safety of flying a drone.

If you are using your phone put it in airplane mode. You don't want to have a phone call come in while the drone is in the air. Most DJI drones have a 'beginner' setting that will limit you to the distance, height and speed the drone will fly. I suggest flying with this setting for a couple of days until you get the feel of the drone. Always be aware of all your surroundings. Read up on the regulations and get online and take the TRUST safety test. If you are ever stopped they will ask you for this certificate. You have to be 16 years old to fly most drones.
