Can I get Better Distance from Low Spin Ball or Head?

I’ve found the Ai Smoke TD 9° with ProV1 works best for me. With my TSR3 9° ProV1X is a better combo. What you didn’t show though was the flight. With the low spin driver and low spin ball you got a more piercing ball flight which would be better in higher wind. The efficiency of the driver went up to 1.44 in that configuration as well.

The ball difference won’t matter indoors. That’s definitely a test that needs to be done outside. I can tell you from my findings, that I get two very different ball flights using TP5 and TP5x

It’s all about player delivery. If you have a technically sound golf swing you can play almost anything.

I like a low spin head because generally I can’t add more weight to the back and get the really heavy swing weight that I like…. Can you do a video on adding weight to the back and how that affects moi compliance?

Hi AJ - Thanks for the video. Interesting results. I tuned in because my son fights a slice(fade on a good day). While I anticipate him correcting his swing would help the most, I had wondered if a low spin ball would not spin out so bad on his slice? Is it possible that with your good swing you didn’t see much difference because you’re making good contact? Thanks again!

This was me with my swing and a certain ball, both of which were higher spin tour style balls. Different swing or 2 different style balls might yield different results.

Would be interesting to see if you hit the same balls with your optimal driver settings if there would be much of a difference.

Using Mizuno gear is more then half this issue being so close. Actually use a LS labelled driver vs stock with an AVX ball then the same drivers with a ProVx ball...

Low spin ball? Try the Titleist AVX - longest ball I've played (75 y.o.). I've never heard of a low spinning Mizuno ball.

ProV1x left dash is supposed to be the lowest spin ball on the market, and according to brysons testing that’s what he found as well
