Personally, I enjoy the coding and ayab videos. I'm a hobbyist coder, and years ago I made a sewing pattern generator, so your pattern generators make a lot of sense to me. I'm looking forward to more of those videos. Congrats on 10k and on actually knitting bread!

I saw the notification. I clicked immediately, because I wanted to see someone give it a go! And I know your videos well enough now that I know it will be worth the watch, if only to learn the multiple reasons why I might want to avoid it 😅 Ooh, knitting with homemade pasta? 😂😂

10,000 subscribers, congratulations! I absolutely love your relating things to knitting/ spinning/ fibre with the bread dough. When you had the dough on 3 fingers at once, I was thinking, "You've got the 3 stitches live, like on a knitting machine!" Absolutely love this video, well done on the i cord 😊 thank you for doing this video!

Congrats on 10k subs and a delicious, beautiful bread! Luckily, bread freezes well. Just don’t try to thaw it out faster in the microwave. My dad attempted that once and it was ruined. If you want to look into getting a tech editor, I suggest getting in touch with Engineering Knits. She just went through that process and I think you would vibe with her content, too.

I just found your channel from this video (congrats on 10K btw!) but I really relate to what you say here about the intersection of art and tech. I’m about a week away from graduating with my bachelor’s in engineering, and I’ve always considered myself a creative type too. I love to crochet, but I’m a terrible knitter, and I’ve always wanted to learn how to machine knit! Anyway, this video was fun to watch, but I’m looking forward to checking out your more typical prototyping videos. Crafty women in STEM stay winning 💪🏻

Hmm... if you do it again, but with a coloured layer around the dough (again, like with the boiled lollies/sweets) you could see what a cross-section of knitting looks like when you cut into it.

Congrats on 10K! to be honest, your channel made me dive into knitting, and finally "master" a craft I have been avoiding to take on for years. I got 2 single flat bed machines, one of them a 8PB for rather cheap. I have since been diving into knitting and its so much fun and so satisfying. And yesterday I have been to an art exhibition called "Monkey at the Loom" (by Batia Kolton and Roni Fahima) and it was insane seeing many huge knitting projects done using a computer and a knitting machine. I thought of you and your channel the entire time I was there.

Your Videos keep me going. Thumbs up for your i-cord bread. Looks great. I enjoyed this Video a lot. Holiday greetings from Germany 💚

I think you should do some cooking videos. That would be different for a change, also cooking videos are just fun. I personally really enjoyed watching the process of you making this and cooking and doing the taste test. I think if you did some baking and/or cooking videos they would do well. I really liked this. Also, the bread came out really awesome! I wish I could taste it with a little bit of butter on there and toast it for a minute. So yummy. I love homemade bread.

I have been knitting and braiding challah for decades and never attempted to merge the two crafts. Your channel has encouraged me to get out my knitting machine again, my engineer son is setting up the AYAB hardware, and I really wish I could code (but have no idea how to even get started).

And I know linen isn't "unconventional", but I have some thin linen yarn that I really want to put through my knitting machine but I'm scared, lol. Can you do a video about using linen on a knitting machine?
@DaniCal1forn1a10 ай бұрын
@@showandtellmegoooh this would be interesting... probably fine with the right settings & considerations but the difference in stretch between linen & wool/cotton/synthetic yarn makes it less forgiving when it comes to tension 🤔

This is a fun video to watch, probably more that it was to make aha Ironically, seeing you cast on the bread anf going at it is the thing that made me finally understand the process of knitting! I really couldn't make heads or tails of it for years. Finally, congratulations on 10 000 subscribers!

@SoEz2Hack10 ай бұрын
Maybe this is a bad idea, but could you try some thicker gauge fishing line in multiple colors on. your bulky machine? Could be a bad idea, but I have it in my head that it might make it clearer what is actually happening. I'm having problems understanding casting off in particular and being able to follow some high contrasting colors that don't have the obscuring fluff of yarn may be instructive. Or maybe not on the machine at all and just use some high contrast rope to show what is occurring. Thanks for the consideration!

This was such a creative idea! You are very talented! I’m wondering if you were to use a pasta maker that would crank out the dough for you in a tube shape? It might be easier than having to keep rolling out by hand?? Congrats on 10K subs!
