Tbh the idea of this game is absolutely boring, gameplay make no sens and after you get a gun this is not even a horror because you have nothing to be scared about I would recomend to make it more like escape game when you try to avoid the monster search for him by light and hide in some places and try to go troug some maze or even a semi-straight korridore with easy puzzles But in general fun to watch video

he talked about the mr beast concept with collecting things in the forest then just said now we have to just avoid the enemy and wait for the jumpscare . like the ai's game.

Some ideas to improve the game: -Ammo: if you have limited bullets and have to find more on the map, that make every bullet count -Points of interest: the map feels really empty, some places to visit and see (and maybe to use as cover to hide) may help a lot -Enemy AI: maybe if you make it to detect you from far away if you cast light on it that make the encounters more thrilling Light: linked to the previous point, if you let the monster detect your light, add a sistem to turn it on and off add an strategic play to the chase The Jumpscare: use a png cutout of the AI game feels odd, takes out all the impact of the "scare", a littel animation of the creature jumping to the screen will works better -Sound: please, PLEASE add some sounds to make it more inmersive, footsteps, shoots, enemy groans, maybe a scream when it detects you and a lowder scream for the junpscare, al mute feels so empty too x_X I get the point of the video is just to have fun, but make the game that way feels like say "Look, the AI can make better games that us" and thats a really sad message

Because he is just bad, blud doesn't need to be top tier, he just needs to add substance to his games, a little flare if you will. Your game can have particularly no story, but it has to make up for somehow good, non boring gameplay, nice animations and amazing lighting to make the world feel more alive to make up for it. Or you can have a dead world with immersive lighting, cool gameplay, krispy animation but have the world dull down to more moody colours. Your game can be two sides of the multiple spectrums or somewhere in the middle but barely being on any ain't gonna cut it in the game development world.
