Let’s go Moose! Make it 4/4 at the international Giants live shows this year man!
@fullerspubcollector2 ай бұрын
Nothing surprises me about what you can and do achieve Mitchell. The way you analyze each event. the strengths and weaknesses of all the competitors and predictions of results is indicative of your comprehensive preparation. The others could do the same but don't seem to know how. Your self confidence is growing with each win, which increases the psychological advantage you are creating over your competitors. I'm enthralled to watch you win comps and look forward to your future achievements.

Big Moose.....kicking butt and taking Podiums!.....Mitch has won so many podiums in the last three years that many in the Strongman video comments sections are now starting to call him..."The Alien"....because his strength is not of this world! Putting Canada on the center stage. The last 3 years have been AMAZING to watch unfold.

Nahhh Mitch you still gave us "Woah I didn't expect Mitch to do that" moments this year: - Winning the Websters at ASC (Unpredictable event) - Getting 2nd despite in jury at Worlds - Learning to Split Jerk and then going for the Axle World Record, while *also* improving your push press massively - Coming 2nd on the power pull (huge progress made)

"- Getting 2nd despite in jury at Worlds". Fuck, now that you mentioned I am still mad at Mitch. It was all his to loose. Might have been overconfidence or lack of grip training. But fuuuck. As a Thor and Mitch fan I was sad for a few weeks although he was absolutelly beast in the rest of the competiton.

Is it unrealistic to think that you should have a proper atlas stone setup to practice on, as well as power stairs, Conan's wheel, and a proper implement to practice your throwing on? Your training is certainly a ways off from optimal without these things. Taking into account how quickly your throwing improved, I think you have the potential to be the best ever at it, even with your height disadvantage. But without an adjustable bar to consistently practice on you're handicapping yourself.

@@crazy10bears The answer is in "one of the most accomplished strongmen of the modern era."
@crazy10bears2 ай бұрын
@@m.w.4508 Exactly, you can't. It's just basic logic, that practicing on the actual implement or something very close to it is going to give you optimal results. You only reason not to do it is because you don't want to spend the money or dedicate the space to it. Tom bought a Conan's wheel not too long ago and his performance with that implement improved massively. Brian, who is one of the all time best throwers, always had a bar to throw over. Mateusz, the best Odd Haugen lifter, has a replica stone to train with. It's a no brainer. There's always room to improve anyone's training, no matter how good they are.

Problem is Tom has been suffering from different injuries for sometime, Thor is better in almost all the events except wherever shoulder strength is required, Martins and other top athletes are also out or not even 80%. So although you are an extremely good champion, but the Quality of opposition will always be questioned in future. As Brian Shaw, Big Z, Thor and many other great champions have their wins against much better conditioned athletes.
@NeuroLifting2 ай бұрын
Strongman has only become more and more competitive... don't disrespect this era when the standards are only higher than ever, 6 athletes were trying 470Kg vs 1,000lb was the peak 10 years ago... same with the log, moving events etc...
@saqibrahman48012 ай бұрын
@@NeuroLifting I never disrespected anyone. However, quality competition depend on the availability of best athletes in their top condition in the events. Right now none of top athletes like Thor, Tom, Licis, Noviko etc all are hurt or recovering. In the last competition against Thor, Thor lost because he is still recovering from his pec tear. If all the top athletes had been in proper condition do you really believe the competitions had been so one sided! In the past Big Z, Brian, Thor, and Eddie etc all were competing in their top conditions and the competition never was one sided. This is my opinion and you have the right to have your own.
