There is a vintage Gromit sweater where he’s knitting that I’ve always wanted to recreate but the instructions are vintage and not available for purchase, and also probably made with children in mind, that has been my dream recreation for so long, also the one that you showed at the beginning was stunning as well.

Seeing the face being made is fascinating to me. I'm new to knitting and doing two colours at once is hard enough, but to see this going on, goodness!! How you don't get all those strands tangled is mind boggling. Oohhh i feel bad asking, but YES wash the sleeves! It also took me the entire video to figure out that the top of the sleeves is meant to be the hair of the clown.

Please send Wil a link to this? I'm pretty sure he would absolutely fall over laughing & be thoroughly impressed with your skills. I know he's posted before about other people making their versions of the clown sweater. I think yours might be the closest yet. Should you ever decide to try this again (don't know why you would, but...), perhaps you might pull a trick from hand knitting. To get those sort of loops by hand, one of the most secure methods I've seen entails knitting into the same stitch twice, but looping the working yarn around the left thumb between the 2 stitches, then the 1st stitch is pulled off the right needle & over the 2nd stitch (thus "locking" the loop in place). I don't know enough about machine knitting to know if that's entirely possible. It might be easier to just do those bits by hand & machine everything else.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse than ugly Christmas sweaters.........I still can appreciate the work and I love your face. Maybe you should of used iron on interfacing? The heat and bond is for another type of of work, gluing two fabrics together like in an applique.

I love this so much. If you're asking if this sweater made me laugh uncomfortably, then yes this sweater was very successful. And for some reason I thought that was Brendon Urie in the sweater, which made things so much more confusing! 😅

Hello, I have been watching your videos and really learning a lot. Can I please ask a question? Do you think the LK150 is worth it. I already have both the addi and sentro and I have made cardigans from it but I'm not sure I like the seam in the middle of the body part. I've had to split the panels in two in order to make a front panel and another 2 to make the back panel. I only want to buy one flat bed machine and it seems like the lk150 does not take medium 4 weight. All of my yarns are medium 4 weight. Have you ever tried these yarns in your lk150? Only the Lk150 is available on amazon and Silver reed does not have a website. I don't really want to buy from the secondary marketplace in case there is a problem with the machine I don't want to have to deal with the no return no exchange part. My plan is to be able to make some really nice pieces in the future and I'm not sure if the lk150 is the way to go. Thank you again for all the videos!
@leneiversen26387 ай бұрын
I have a lk150 and use 4 weight yarn on it all the time. The lk150 can use weights between 2 and 5 with no problem. Any thinner will be very loosely knit. Any tricket you would need to work on every other needle (I've made blankets in Hobbii baby snuggle that way)
@leneiversen26387 ай бұрын
Tricket = thicker
