Thanks for the video. I like the ryobi inflator. If you already have ryobi batteries it's only about $40 for the inflator. Great idea!

I found you this morning and been binging your frankenfoam. Great stuff!

I think the shop vac can give more than enough airflow to make foam. Just need to remove bottlenecks along the air path.
@kathleenmead9259 Жыл бұрын
well done!
@billburkart9087 Жыл бұрын
for the vacuum test maybe you should have removed the Schrader valve it's a huge restriction for that vacuum to push past.

I agree. I'll give that a try in another video. Thanks for watching.

You can you use an old refrigerator compressor to generate the air pressure (Lill from Morocco)

Did you ever thought of use a mix of Portland soup and water through franken foam and create a cemfoam to fill drywalling for insulation purposes

Is the tabletop fire pit going to be portable enough for you to take on your camping trip when your camper trailer is ready to go? Will you also be building a portable table to go along with it and will that be able to stowed in the trailer?
@GreenShortzDIY Жыл бұрын
Hi Donna! Yes. It should be pretty lightweight. Nice to see you. :-)

Nevermind! This works perfect! And I already own the Ridgid version of this air pump! Saweet!!

Looking forward to seeing your tabletop fire in action. Instead of a hibachi cooking surface you can enjoy s’mores. Will the bottom plate offer sufficient insulation to allow the use of a Rocket King mini on an outdoor table? Wishing you and your family a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together enjoying your tabletop fires. Peace brother

Good to see you, JW. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend. I'll be making the final bottom plate a good bit thicker. Peace, brother.

I am very surprised at the output of the inflator. As for the vacuum I wonder what it would do if you were able to hook it up with a much bigger connection about the same diameter as the vacuum hose?
@GreenShortzDIY Жыл бұрын
I was pleasantly surprised as well. I bet you are correct about the larger output for the vacuum. I plan to try that. Thank you for watching.

Very cool video! Inexpensive 12v inflators are out there for those who don't have the resources to get a ryobi. Stores like Aldi and Lidl have them from time to time for less than $20. Harbor freight's cheapest one would probably work for this but is too wimpy for car tires so I don't recommend it.

In one of Robert Murray's videos he uses graphene to strengthen concrete. In his video "1933 Blood Graphene" this is a home made graphene. Would your processes and the home made graphene make it even stronger? I do not have the space to make foam-create.

Interesting. I'll have to check out his video. Thank you for the recommendation. Thank you for watching.

What about using a leaf blower

When I try the vac again with bigger piping, I’ll try a leaf blower too. Thank you for the suggestion. Thank you for watching.

So... reading the news it seems this is how we build all our schools on this side of the pond.
@GreenShortzDIY Жыл бұрын
Excellent! Are they using aircrete blocks? I’m curious if it is used structurally. Thank you for the input. Thank you for watching.

@@GreenShortzDIY There's a big scandal in the UK right now. They used something called 'reinforced aerated autoclaved concrete' to build schools, hospitals, public buildings etc from WWII to the '90s. It has a limited life so there was a renovation programme. Anyway, the government cancelled it about 10 years ago to save money, figuring fixing it would be someone else's problem. Unfortunately they made the mistake of holding on to power...

Anyway, sorry for injecting politics. Your project is cool! (Just don't go building any major infrastructure)

Interesting addition, I was also wondering about the same thing. And yes; it's a cool project!
@GreenShortzDIY Жыл бұрын
Ah. I see it's a bad thing. From what I've observed, aircrete is not a good option for structural components.
