Thought it was a tall order especially as you had to collect the gear too. Still did a good day's shift and I'd be happy with that. Well done!

Seen those speed skims in a few video defiantly going on the list as I struggle with large ceiling and the like. Good job, I bet you ached the next morning! Good that you stopped yourself from pushing on chasing the light.

Massive day Darren. You achieved so much.

Very impressive. I converted a brick built workshop to office. I did all internal work apart from plastering and electrics. The plasterer I hired did my office in one day but it's much smaller than this one, it's his single trade and he worked solid from 8-4. You should be very proud of what you achieved considering plastering is only one of your trades

I’ve never done plastering before and as simple as it may look I’m sure it’s difficult, so I have decided to try skim joints on tapered boards on my garden room project

Having watched you for awhile, I'll be willing to bet you can and will plaster the room in one day! If you can't, well, there is nothing wrong with setting goals, is there? I just enjoy the videos as they are!

why don't you 1 coat it??? you would have had an early knock off
@rasalghul4742 жыл бұрын
May I ask how you get a good finish on the reveals when the plaster meets the window and door frames? Do you just clean off the plaster on the frames and make sure the plaster is a clean line?
@carmm62913 жыл бұрын
I would recommend you get a pole for your speed skim. its a lot quicker to walk up and down the whole area rather than hopping up on the ladder doing a small section at a time. :-)
