Can I reach 30 mpg in my Turbo Charged Porsche?

As for the dog smell, I bought an ionizer from Amazon and ran it inside with air on circulate on high for 30 min… after I lowered the windows and let the Cayenne air out for a good 2 hours… and apart from the lingering ionized air which eventually goes away… my car now smells ‘clean’ for lack of a better word.

I have an 2005 CTT, my daily comute is around 13 miles each way, and I have been seeing 16 mpg the last few weeks... but I have been driving like a GRANDPA! lol Oh yea am in the States.

The best I ever got out of it was 30mpg and that was only once. 27/28 was possible though.

Good effort, I've the same car and over the last 3000 miles averaged 15.6mpg. I do some short journeys and bit of traffic though. You did well with 24mpg , glad you are enjoying the car.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it and I still think that I can squeeze more out of it if the setup is right. I took it off road on Sunday which dented the MPG some! That video should be done this week.

Hi, just subscribed. I bought a new car, the cayenne turbo. Not knowing much other than its cheap and can haul my family around. I have no manual could you tell me how to switch on the cruise control , also is octane 95 petrol fine or do i need to get premium petrol?

Hey thanks for subscribing! Definitely use premium/E5 on a turbo. You need to push the cruise control lever forward (it should show a green light on the dash). Then once you are at the speed press the plus button on the end of the stalk.

Lights use basically zero power, just be safe and turn them on

Halogens will use quite a bit of power but it was pretty clear for most of the run, I switched them on when needed though.

Ask about the coolant pipes. It was recall item that should be fixed. If I can do it again I'd hold out for a Turbo S (2006), or the manual GTS, or the rare off road package that included disconnecting anti-sway bars and locking rear differential.
