Hahaha, I softlocked myself in this game playing as a ghost type gym leader at the beginning. I had picked misdreveaus I believe and she only had ghost type moves. Then I bumped in to a trainer who only had a normal type Pokémon and only normal moves. We couldn’t hit eachother at all, and it was taking forever to run out of PP. so I just restarted cause I didn’t have time for this.

I picked ghost to but I wanted to choose duskull but I accidentally chose drifloon and it was actually good cuz drifloon has a flying move Which is good against normal pokemon since ghost moves can't damage normal types. My current team is Decidueye, Drifblim, and Haunter. And I recently got Dreepy so I'll train it.

You can get a starter very early in the game, just go to the far left of winding woods to find a cave. Answer all the riddles in this cave and an entrance will appear to the south. Go through to a house where a lady will ask you what number you prefer (which gen starter) and then basically which type. You can also spam free drinks and lum berries from the girl in front of the ladder when you get kidnapped. If you're low on health items its a good idea to do this here.

No, it's only 2 Fire/Rock. The Onix evolution (Smeltix) is Fire/Steel type.

@@Grongly this is called “This gym of mine” and it’s not a gba game, it’s an rpg maker game so you have to run it with windows since it’s not an GBA file. If you have windows computer you will not need an emulator.

Idk if you know this cuz this is the second or 3rd play through or this game of yours I have watched and you havnt mentioned or use. You can use a pokemon that us not fire type as long as it can learn your gyms signature move. So you could have added a few different like dragons to your team and make it stronger.
