Hardcore - If a Pal faints its dead! If you die you are dead! If you have a living Pal on you when you die you can trade their life for your with the spin wheel of chaos! (use the meat cleaver)
No Catching any Pals, Eggs only! - You have to collect the first egg you see! if you see something that you think is an egg you have to check it out before you can get any other egg!
Caged or Pal Merchants - You can rescue Pals at will from cages and you can buy 1 Pal per in game day! These Pals can only be used at base and can never be used in your party (except to name them) They must be named to sort them out from your combat Pals, I called them Intern (insert name or number)
Breeding - You can breed Pals to be used as interns for base! You can also use interns for breeding as well as combat Pals. If you decide you want to use a Pal you have to Sacrifice not 1 but 2 Combat Pals via the spin wheel of chaos in order to add it to your team! ( this includes any combat Pals you have already sacrificed for!)
Names - Name every Combat Pal, this is to keep Track of them and to develop an attachment in case the worst happens and you have to remove them from the living world.
Play it as 100 days or go for the gold and beat all the towers in your own time! Good luck and may the RNG gods be in your favor!

8:00 - "can't find foxsparks" - chops a tree down next to one, crafts some arrows next to another, runs past a 3rd towards the tower... "but I can only find two at the tower grounds"

@@Chaotic_Gaming I get it... also, just a thought to follow that up --> I don't know if this playthrough is all done already or whatnot, but I think you should have had a "rule" where you can swap an egg one time in each zone, if you found a 2nd or 3rd. That way you're not just stuck with all the basic eggs, since usually the bigger ones are decently well hidden. (yes I get that it's random as to what size spawns in each egg location, just seems the bigger ones are harder to find). I'm playing a shiny/lucky run with egg gathering and man is the selection quite redundant and many are just not good. Takes a while before you can get some decent eggs that have fighters to take on the bosses. Penking was my main dude way into the late 20's until I found a Bushi (and had some fortune to find a Jorman Ignis).

@@valthar3655 this playthrough is done at least for egg gathering. But if I do something similar in the future I will be considering the bad luck of eggs and will have a work around for it.

I’ve honestly ran into em out of they habitat which is kinda dope feels like they migrate frfr but they should do evolve but honestly breeding feels like that’s what that is

I feel like you should have limited your number of egg types you can get so more variety could be done (and a dupes clause too) cause it IS an interesting premise but I imagine having 2 of the same pal is, frankly, well, kinda boring tbh. And eggs iirc respawn into a different type when you grab it and go look out for it again, so it would have been nice to get much more different types than like 50 scorching eggs (I honestly felt this when I was looking for dragon eggs on my own playthrough, mt. obsidian is cursed af i swear) Now we got eggs out of the way, when's the 'specific type pal-locke' lmao jkjk But something like an all fliers/birds only would be a great follow up to eggs only (cause... chicken after egg... get it haha)

Yah, I did get a decent amount of variety thankfully. But more then could of used some more water Pals and larger ones. I didn't want to add a dupe Claus (I did think of it as I got scorching after scorching.) I felt it would of been a bit cheaty to alter the rules mid way through. Though if I come back to this idea I may change it up more and attempt to perfect and balance it better.

Did you know when butchering a pal and click mount when you have their saddle at the end (if you are lucky) and drop the palsphere in a wide open area and pick up and have unlimited resources

eggs only isnt that hardcore. Lucky only on normal settings is. I had to like the Video because of goober standing up to those thugs. ok that was pretty hardcore.

"hardcore" is perma death, not the difficulty of the task at hand. I do plan on doing a lucky run soon though. Also hardcore (perma death) that should be really fun!
