Can I Survive Fallout 4 Modded Into A Zombie Apocalypse?

Fallout 4 is cool and all, but what how would it play if it looked more like a zombie apocalypse game? Well... we got mods for that. In this video I play through Fallout 4 with 700+ mods, with some more added on top to turn it into a zombie survival game. Now the entire map will be filled with ghouls, and they will have much more variety like what you see in other popular games such as left 4 dead. It's a big change from the vanilla game, and it's 10 times more fun, but also quite the challenge. The only question now is, Can I survive?

It's pretty unplayable. Majority of the ghoul mods break the entire world, ruin questing, and don't really add anything to the game.

​@@witch-hunter7943 you cant. Reason one is that 90 percent of his mods are nexus only. The second is that you are on a playstation. Playstation is very, very strict with modding so most of the things on the mod page in fallout might not even work for you. If you wanted to replicate even a fraction of his modlist, you would need to buy a mid-high end computer. Although if you find a way, i want the video of the playstation taking off

The Zetans are funny like that. Their spawn points seem to include places taken by ferals, like the station, the shipping company and the trailer park. Meanwhile, the frog slaves seem to spawn mostly at lakes and similar places, like Walden Pond.

It looks much more like a place 200 years after the apocalypse. Humans have left and nature is taking things back. And the visual style looks amazing. Except the water, that is too blue for me. I would prefer if it either is very clear that you can see the riverbed or muddy.

The algorithm gods have blessed me, what a good video! I'm half tempted to try and mod my FO4 to play somewhat close to this but I'm not sure if I have that kind of patience You've got the making of a really cool challenge series where you take your massive modlist and run challenges in it (or in the case of this video, add a handful of mods that really make the run unique or special), it'd really be a standout amongst the ocean of "Can you beat Fallout/skyrim/New Vegas" videos so many other people do. Maybe I just want to see more of this modlist in action...

@@witch-hunter7943 It's not even that, it's trying to merge them so you don't go over the 254 esp cap, yet somehow he does it. I just don't get how he manages to have over 600 plugins (almost 2000 individual mods), the majority of which are in fact esp's.

My favorite thing about this is that it gives you a reason to stockpile ammo while watching every corner, cause you can be overwhelemed so hard that you either plan your attack or use everything you got to survive. Its hard to pull that off in a modlist cause its so easy to make yourself overpowered

Another bonus to going full "monkey mode" and ignoring Intelligence, is that it honestly helps fix some of the loot progression problems of Fallout 4. You might actually be glad to see a rare gun you already have, because it might have better mods on it than your current one. Edit: Nevermind! He has the old style of leveling, so the loot progression issues of Fallout 4 can easily persist unless he doesn't level up Gunsmithing.

The feral tank is using the death claw AI I think, it's pretty cool but also kinda sad it doesn't get to be used too often, if it can't reach where you're at it runs away to lure you out, you only really get to see it at concord and a rooftop encounter, rest of the time they tend to be in the open and just charge attack you,, it's neat to see other creatures do it too

I like the idea of modding this game into a zombie apocalypse. I'm bored to death of fast zombies though. I modded them to be extremely tough, do extremely high damage, exist in high numbers and they have grab attacks. And they're actually zombies and not ferals. Only thing is, they're slower than the player's average running speed.
