@@mijajajajaOh that would have been a dream. I tend to default to a sweet/offbeat/awkward persona to hold people off so I don't have off-the-cuff access to an aggro response if there's a veneer of civility, you know? I almost always manage to keep men from getting angry at me that way which is nice. I do have one good story along those lines: a really grimy homeless guy once spotted me at a bus stop and started cackling and came up to me really quickly with his arms outstretched for a hug. He was going to make me do it and he thought it was funny. I sat bolt upright and snapped out before he got within 6 feet: "I BEG YOUR PARDON! I need you to leave me alone!" That was half Miss Manners and half camp counselor (the "I need you to") phrasing. I knew I needed to not swear at all--I had to effectively chastise him and not use crass or abusive language for this strategy to work. And it did! It was almost hilarious--it pulled him up short and he turned around and scuttled away without my needing to say another word.

@@penelopejackson7282 well for one thing plenty of men have gotten involved with women and it ended up becoming up long-term relationship through persistence. But yes in this case I have to agree with you that badgering a person is not cool. I think what happens is that these dudes don't know how to prioritize things in their lives. So I mean these are men that are not working on personal success, mental health, appearance, basically anything that has to do with cultivating a good quality life for themself. However they still have sexual urges, and the desire to have sexual companions so they're being driven by instinct instead of practical necessities. I think that's a real problem for most people, because developing yourself as an individual is it an arduous process, and gratifying yourself can be a way of escaping the hard work of personal development. I've actually been guilty of this, I have alot of emotional issues and things that I've needed to focus on for my health and well-being in life, and I've avoided it and then tried to seek out pleasure to alleviate the stress. It's not a good way to live your life but many of these men are psychologically undeveloped. They almost certainly come from households where they suffered neglect, possibly abuse, were surrounded by people who lived hand to mouth, and around criminals. They do not know how to delay gratification, or to cultivate a healthy disciplined life to improve themselves.

I think they would have if it hadn't been cut. Presumably the laughter that's there is from dress. Maybe they were worried they'd miss something so the laughter wasn't as loud as it could be. Which, ironically, is probably why it didn't make it to the live broadcast.
