Tbh, Thirteen Storeys sounds like it would be awesome for big fans of The Magnus Archives, but if that audio drama didn't HOOK you, the book will be similar. I haven't read it yet, so I apologize if I'm off base, but it sounds like the stories are pretty similar to TMA cases in terms of their focus and horror elements.

I'm glad you chose not to lie about your feelings on I Was a Teenage Slasher - I don't think I would've believed you, and I would've been confused - your actions, and your face were very 'this is a disappointing 3 star book' also. "historical horror which scares me" I don't know if you meant for that to be funny but it was. I'm pretty sure if you buy books and put them in a closet or under the bed until you read some of your books it doesn't count as adding to your tbr.
