Can I Walk 10 Mile from Barnstaple Devon Without Using ANY Road NO ROADS EXTREME EP1

Can I travel (at least) 10 miles from Barnstaple, Devon without even setting foot on a road? The most brutal and relentless route yet. Bradiford Water gives me a decent start taking me through the north-west suburbs before dawn without any issue. Things get seriously messy in EP2 when I hugely underestimate the changing riverbed & summer undergrowth, travelling light, I am left with few options.

It has been a good while since I've been on a rope swing, lol. We also are getting more houses built in my location, the countryside is being eroded, unfortunately.

You should put up a map showing where you walked so people can check it out on google maps. I’m local and you lose me on bits of your journeys 😂 🦊🫡

Good question, but I like to keep an edge of mystery, I really would not like to see people try to follow these routes & something bad happen to them. Obviously I get legal issues, often not really about what I do but more about copycat merchants who think because I did it then they should also.

@@sandpit72 fair play my friend 👍 I can see how that might not be such a great idea, especially people trying to follow you. It can be a bit dodgy walking around places you don’t know And you do get into some quite hairy situations 🤣. I once fell into a slurry pit, luckily I got out just as quick as I fell in but I was covered head to toe in cow sht 🤣🤣 Long smelly walk home 🤣🤣 Take it easy dude and stay safe!
