As a caster, T90 has seen hundreds of viper games to be able to predict exactly what viper would go for. And also has developed a really good game sense in general. He predicted the fish trick instantly. (When many pros could have fallen victim and ended in a mastapiece video.) T90 isnt a weak player and just watching him play just shows how high the T90 apm was in the game. Certainly i cant play like that. He also did not get cocky and remained humble never underestimating viper's chances for a rebound. In the end a very deserved win.

When you are in the top 50 and you get matched with top 20 players, the matchmaking is working flawless, you cant expect rank 40 to 60 joining matchmaking at all times. When you dont want to play top 20s, you can just lose to them and go down in ranks, thats the whole point in ranked matchmaking ... There is no issue at all with matchmaking in that regard. but yeah i guess its frustrating to play Viper on stream :p wp

exactly you got to realize that there's only a limited number of players available at a given time... sure sometimes there are lots of active players but you can't expect to match up with level 60-100 players just because that's roughly your range and ofc the top 30 players or so are also likely to be the most active it gets increasingly more demanding to stay on top

In a fast paced, stressful game like this, it's not worth it and takes too much time--it costs him wood to do that, so let's say he auto-queues 5 times--that's 60 wood a piece, that's 300 wood that's been spent but not currently being used, which could be used to make units or buildings costing wood, which could set him back--as opposed to just waiting until the farms actually need reseeding and THEN spending it, so it would only be that same 60 wood each time as opposed to 300 wood all at once which is much harder to gain back in the same amount of time, compared to a single farm with 60 wood cost.

I believe you are the type of player we can call "An intellect". You ahve seen so many games in general, and seen a lot of the top players play, you have retained a lot of information in general. You did the best thing just to hit his eco and never stopped.. Most just stops after sometime and in that break viper just vipes to finish. He tried with samurai but his continuous eco destruction hit him hard. Your fear for eco boom is exact thing which makes him hit everybody. Nice game though he trolled you in beginning he was really hopeful when his samurai killed your tc and castle.

Actions Per Minute. Basically how many times someone commands a unit/building to do something per minute. Typically good multi-taskers/people with good micro have a very high APM (relative to intermediate players) which can give them the advantage by maneuvering military units into advantageous fighting positions while simultaneously creating more units AND keeping the resource economy going all at the same time
