The "Elizabeth" variant I think comes from a musical "The Producers (2005, originally 1967). I sincerely recommend everyone to watch this masterpiece (in my humble opinion the 2005 version is better) - in this movie there is a failed writer Franz Liebkind, who wrote a play about Ad0lf, where his second name was "Elisabeth".
