I felt bad for Kieran. My first time going through the DLC I didn't even have an overleveled team but with max EVs/IVs on them all he didn't stand a chance even though they made him really try. And the second time I brought one level 100 mon and then put together a new team of randos out of the DLC mons and he still stood no chance because I'm so addicted to EV training that I've done that for the new team as well. Honestly I wish there was a way to tell Kieran how to *really* be strong instead of just beating him and walking away with Ogerpon 😅

See, I had no trouble with Kieran either, but that’s only because I struggled so much with Arven and Clavell and had to grind to level 100 to beat them. So I was WAY OP when Kieran came along.

Kieran's team on my Grass monotype playthrough was terrifying. Specifically his Yanmega. Took numerous tries and a lucky affection survive from my Torterra to finally beat the thing. Obviously, I wanted to do it for Ogrepon, but yeesh.

Kieran kicked my gh-ass-tly while I was playing through the dlc, those last 2 fights against him were ROUGH for me. I used strategies in a battle for the 1st ever 😂

@evanmolina7045 Well, I kept my entire team on relatively the same, if not lower, level than his, and it consisted of Empoleon, Annihalape, Dipplin, Yanmega, Sinistcha, and Vikavolt. I'm a casual player, so I chose the Pokémon I wanted not basing it off power. I'm not arguing or anything I just want to know what you did that made the fight easier to do, as I'm always trying to learn these things

If you go on average level the fight is a champion level fight ( that is if you have finished the normal storyline and already defeated sada / turo ). He's also the only trainer beside carmine TO ACTUALLY USE OBJECT IN A FIGHT. This is a hard fight if you play with a team of pokemon you like and aren't a try hard. I did the same as you and i regret nothing. I almost lost because of bad decision right at the start ( using a wind attack was a bad idea against shiftry... and then he survived a fire attack with his belt 🥲 ). One of the best fight i ever did. Up there with Volo , Cynthia and Red.

I feel bad for him. Like he's gone through so much. He almost got his favorite Pokémon. But then we took it from him. But then he decides to be a jerk in the second part. Thinking that he'll be stronger. But with all that training. We still beat him. So I have some advice for him. Make your team level 100! Kieran If you make your team level 100. You will never lose.

I used a shiny only team of Pokémon I found in the dlc so my team was dipplin and poochyena (I refused to evolve it). I did beat the dlc with this team but it took a lot of time and hyper training since both of my mons had shit stats, I literally had like 0 defense on poochyena :/

I had the wrong set of Pokémon for the Nemona fight in front of Ms Top Champion or whatever her name is and lost every single Pokémon I had to her stupid meowscarada, SOLELY because I stupidly terastellized the wrong Pokémon, my finger slipped on the joy on and I terrastellized my espathra instead😭 bear in mind, if I’d have terastellized my skeledirge, I’d have won that. The rest of my Pokémon were all decently strong backups thus far until I finally go into it with Nemona here… because of my stupid mistake, her mowescarada used nothing but flower trick on all my Pokémon, one tapping all of them. Had I been facing meowscarada with a terastellized Skeledirge instead of an espathra, I’d have won, we both had one Mon left😭
